A Cherry on top
As always the course conditions were great and the greens super fast. Finished the round in 2 hours and 50 minutes. Exceptional time especially considering we had 3 walkers in front of us!
Cherry Downs Review
I played this course in mid June. Years ago it was one of my favourite courses
It was sad to see how run down and tired the course has become
Very disappointing considering this was once a top. Course on my list
Is it because it is a public club link course or poor management?
Probably a bit of both?
Nice old course
Kind of tight for beginners, some tough carries off the tee.
Course was in ok condition.
Very dried out, greens were quick.

Great bones. Questionable maintenance
Dry and fast. Inconsistent greens with a great layout. Nice pace of play. Routing is a little confusing. Condition of the teeboxes and cart paths plus lack of amenities... not worth $167.50 for the round.
Shared power cart without plastic divider between two players from different family
When I made my reservation I didn't showed included power Curt is shared, so we both have to ware face masks all the time when we both on the power Curt.
Good course, quite challenging, fair condition
Overall pretty good course, I’m just not sure I like paying $100 to tee off on an angle

Very tough but great time overall
Very tight fairways. Had a great time course was in great shape considering the dry weather of late.
Needs a few days of rain.
There once was a time when Cherry Downs was one of the most sought-after golf courses in the greater Toronto area. Those days are gone! Although it is still a good track and the greens are still lightning fast, it certainly doesn't live up to the good old days. Tee decks were barely acceptable and the car pathways are in terrible need of repair. Don't get me wrong it's still a good course, but certainly doesn't live up to the $90 price tag. Hopefully some wetter weather will bring this coarse back into the $90 zone but until then I can only give this course a C+ on it's report card this time'round. Sorry.
Frustrating greens
Cherry Downs over the years has lost it’s lustre. Very dry and nearly impossible conditions to hold a green made it a frustrating round to say the least. Miss the greens and the rough is so dry, it’s like chipping of a rock. Probably my last round there for a long time.
