About

Black Diamond Golf Club was carefully carved from the foothills and hardwood and pine forests of the Kawartha Oakridge Moraine. The natural landscape, which is covered in fescue, provides many challenges including several elevation changes and water hazards. The layout is unique in that the front nine is more of an open, links style with a double green and numerous pot bunkers, while the back nine has a more traditional North American character. Black Diamond Golf Club's back nine has a few tricky blind shots that present a formidable test for players of all skill levels. The golf course also has rolling fairways lined with trees, carefully sculpted mounding, and 70 strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Lots of blind shots

Blind landings and quite hilly to see lay up options. If I knew the court it might ply may better but as a first timer I wasn’t impressed. Rough was quite long and lost a few that should have been easy finds. Nice views though

Overrated

The staff was rude and the course was poorly maintained for how much they charge. Fairways, tee boxes, practice range were absolute garbage. Will not golf there again.

Fun course but seen better days

The greens were a bit patchy and a ton of divots in the fairways. Was slow pace as well. I still love this course and would recommend it. Always get a cart there are a lot of long gaps between holes

Nice course, friendly staff. However the course was overbooked, and tee time was postponed. Had to wait for multiple groups at a few holes

Great shape for early season round!

As always the staff were awesome! We were a little late getting started because of a frost delay but at first opportunity they got us out quickly.

Course was 8/10 for early season golf, they’ve really done a great job!

The starter did an EXCELLENT job chatting with all of the groups prior to tee offs (while we waited 30 mins for frost to melt) which was well done .. he jumped from group to group keeping everyone informed. Great job!

I always appreciate bringing friends home to play Black Diamond, they've usually never saw anything like it and always want to go back.

Until next time, keep up the great work!

Clubhouse staff and pro shop fella were amazing too!!
