About
Black Diamond Golf Club was carefully carved from the foothills and hardwood and pine forests of the Kawartha Oakridge Moraine. The natural landscape, which is covered in fescue, provides many challenges including several elevation changes and water hazards. The layout is unique in that the front nine is more of an open, links style with a double green and numerous pot bunkers, while the back nine has a more traditional North American character. Black Diamond Golf Club's back nine has a few tricky blind shots that present a formidable test for players of all skill levels. The golf course also has rolling fairways lined with trees, carefully sculpted mounding, and 70 strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Really Nice!
I haven’t been to Black Diamond since the holes were rerouted and it is now a much more integrated experience. It used to be one nine and then a very different nine. There are many spectacular holes. Other than a goofy, off-camber dogleg to the right on the back nine (12?) it was great fun and my playing partners, who had not been there before enjoyed it, even though it rained for a couple of holes.
Clueless Marshall’s, patchy fairways, BEAT UP t blocks
Lemme just start by saying that this was our 70th round of golf this year. We don’t loose balls we don’t go forest diving. We step up to the blocks, smash balls into the fairway and move on through our round. Not one time ever have we been asked to pick up the pace. Today there was a frost delay and a Marshall told us we need to speed up our round, on hole seven. Which isn’t even possible.... says there are two holes I front of us wide open. So we push through play a hole and a half like garbage totally ruining our momentum rushing, Only to run into guys and wait on them for the rest of our round. With absolutely nobody behind us which was the case the entire round. Never been more angry on a golf course in my life. Apart from that the t blocks were completely shredded, and the fairways were absolutely FULL of patchy hard packed dirt. We were so excited to come out to an apparently awesome course for some well structured golf, and that was not the case. Not worth the money we spent at all.

That was a first...... ever... tells us there are two empty holes in front of us. So we start rushing and playing like garbage for a whole and a half, now we’re jammed up behind the people who were actually in front of us.... clueless and ruined our momentum. All of the t blocks were absolutely beat up. And the fairways were loaded with patchy hard packed muddy sections. Thought we were coming out to a nice course for a good round of structured golf and that wasn’t the case. Not with the money we payed at all.

Great Spot
Played here for the first time. Great course. I really enjoyed the layout. I used every club in my bag. The staff was very friendly. I will be back!
Worthwhile challenge
Course in great condition
A fun challenge that never gets easier
Worth the drive.
This course is a little out of the way, but worth the drive. Some straight forward holes and some challenging holes. I’ve probably played here 10 times over the years, and the course has always in good condition. Great value.
Great course to play at the cottage
Great track, was very slow.
Greens could be tended to a bit more.
You can’t beat the beautiful views.
Excellent day of golf
Course is in great shape, staff is very pleasant, Good deals in the pro shop and clubhouse after the round. Will be back again this fall.

Excellent Golf Course with amazing undulating greens. The views of the country side are amazing. All the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. The golf course has done very well in the very busy time.

Great course, great value!
If this course was 45 minutes closer to Toronto it would be my home course.
Played here Monday this week as well as today(Friday), the fairways had their rough patches, but the summer hasn't been nice to grass. The sand traps also need some love, but having no rakes makes this harder.
Will be going back a couple times at least before the season is out.
