About
Black Diamond Golf Club was carefully carved from the foothills and hardwood and pine forests of the Kawartha Oakridge Moraine. The natural landscape, which is covered in fescue, provides many challenges including several elevation changes and water hazards. The layout is unique in that the front nine is more of an open, links style with a double green and numerous pot bunkers, while the back nine has a more traditional North American character. Black Diamond Golf Club's back nine has a few tricky blind shots that present a formidable test for players of all skill levels. The golf course also has rolling fairways lined with trees, carefully sculpted mounding, and 70 strategically placed bunkers throughout.

Amazing course
Amazing course. Worth every penny. Very challenging, but fair. Course was in amazing condition. Sand traps were like playing out of a Florida beach. Greens rolled true. The course is built on a hill, so walking is not recommended. 5 stars
Course was good
Course was in good condition but pace of play was terrible, guys hitting up are butts all day and no Marshall in sight to back off the group behind us , made for the worst round of the year , can’t see us going back to this course for that very reason

Black Diamond is a very scenic course. The par 5s are very challenging. Highly recommend this place.
Start your round after 10am so you can order hot food from the kitchen. If not, you will have access to cold sandwiches.
Pro shop is fitted with great equipment and swag merchandise. I bought 3 Black Clover hats there.
This course has many up and down places for existing and healthy.
We played 4hr more with hot sunny and many trees besides each holes. So, we played well done by sunny weather and grren fields which supported big trees and shadows for good health.
Black Diamond Course Review
Pace of play was horrible on a Friday afternoon. Took us 6 and half HOURS to play 18. Called the pro shop 2 hours in to send a Marshall out. They said the marshal is already gone and no one is around. “Should clear up after 4” so instead we got stuck behind this very slow group of 4 the entire time. Course was beautiful but wouldn’t play there again.
First impressions
First time playing this course, course was in great condition, staff were super friendly
Pace of play was problematic. Slow group let us play through after 3 holes. Group jumped in front of us on the back and the back 9 was super slow
Liked the course, May come back
3.5 stars if I could
Course was in ok condition - greens were decent but some of the tee blocks were pretty ripped up and a bunch of them have big humps in them (think sidehill lies). Sand traps have more pebbles than sand. Value is iffy at $75 (cart).
Challenging
You need to go around this course a few times before you have a chance to score well. Plenty of blind shots. Not many even lies. Most fairways tree lined. Some would say target golf. Course is in very nice condition and the staff are wonderful.
Good time
Course was in good condition, pace was good, staff was friendly. All good.
