average course with fair conditions
tee boxes are rough and uneven and sand traps are poor
A pleasant day on a mediocre course.
The staff was super friendly, but the golf course was well below average. The first nine was particularly bad: very short holes, rough fairways, only average greens. The second nine (The Serpent) was much better. It was a long drive from our vacation apartment in Niagara Falls to a golf course that was not worth the effort.
Great Price for challenging course.
I loved it, it was a great experience, greens were rolling nice, there's also a few cool elevated tee boxes, one even on top of an old silo. Pretty cool. Two thumbs up.
Loved this course
This was a very good challenging course. Loved all the doglegs and water hazards.
Fun day of golf
Joined a group of gentlemen for a round. We golfed Fox and Serpent courses. Serpent has a number of water holes which gave me the opportunity.to donate golf balls.
Fairways could have been better maintained as there was very little difference between fairway and rough. Some of the greens were scalped in areas but they did run true and fast. Overall a fun day.
Very Slow Play
I played on a holiday Monday, the course put out fivesomes, at hole 10 a single (who hadn't played the front) passed us and joined the foursome in front of us making matters worse. We called the pro shop, the marshall came out but nothing was done. We quit after 11 holes.
great .....go play this course
I played the fox and the serpent at whisky run. Both are not overly long, but good course management is key to scoring well. The greens were rolling out nicely. Sand traps were difficult due the amount of rain we received, they were firm and varied. This is a neat course, close to the lake. A true pleasure to play !!!
Great Day at a great price
Unfortunately we had pre booked a very rain day and the as the weather started to change the course was not sure if they were going to open or not. When we arrived for our noon tee time, they had just opened 18 of 27 holes and were letting people play but cart path only. Radar showed the rain would continue on and off and we had the chose of playing or not. We decided not to play and would have to contact golf now as they were going to officially close the course. BY mid afternoon it cleared up and we decided to go back and see if we could still play. Even though our pre paid and highly discounted green fee was for an earlier time. They were most gracious and fit us in and it turned out to be a splendid 18 holes of fun.
Very pleasant setting. Well Maintained.
First time at the course. Greens and fairways were well maintained. Not a long course but has challenging layout. Nice mix of water and bunkers. Good value for the money.
golfnow price was too good to pass up
Enjoyed the round. got hooked up with a father and son and had a great time

Challenging, well maintained course
Found the course to be well maintained and in great playing shape. Nicely designed, and challenging risk/reward holes. Value through golfnow.com was amazing.
Very friendly staff
We enjoyed playing this course. You don't have alot of waiting between the holes because it is a 3 nine hole course and they distibute the players accordingly.
