About
Cardinal Lakes Golf Club offers two 18-hole courses, a championship and an executive. The Sparrow Course is the original executive layout and while it may only be 4,909 yards, it offers the same challenges as its championship sister course. The generous fairways, many of which are doglegs, are flanked with rough areas and there are numerous ponds and lakes that come into play. Surrounded by trees and bunkers, the small greens demand accuracy. It may be a short layout, but this formidable golf course requires careful course management, proper club selection, and solid short game skills. While it may often be overlooked because of its length, the Sparrow is Niagara's most formidable short track

Great round at Cardinal Lakes -Sparrow
We took our Grandson for his first 18 hole round at Csrdinal Lakes - Sparrow as it is a shorter course. The round was perfect for him and we all enjoyed the total experience. The Starter was very friendly and the course just right fir our 13 year old new golfer Grandson.
Decent short course
Decent little course for beginners or a fun match with some friends. Green speeds are slightly above average and in the condition you would expect for a course like this (lots of marks and a few dead spots). Tee blocks are atrocious Carts were decent. On course service was friendly and not overly expensive. All in all decent value for what you pay. Would recommend
Good bang for your buck a nice place to work on your irons
I always enjoy playing sparrow course. It’s a very affordable and easy to walk course pretty flat a good track to work on your irons, but you can still pull a driver out on at least seven or eight holes. The fairway was rather wet due to a lot of rain the previous night , which led to me chunking a few shots in some areas. It’s best to just try to pick it rather than take a divot.
