About
Situated just outside of Welland, Pelham Hills Golf & Country Club offers a parkland-style course that is easily accessible from Niagara Falls. With the Niagara Escarpment serving as a backdrop, the golf course has a rolling landscape covered with large ponds, wandering creeks, and towering trees. The Pelham Hills layout features elevated tees and undulating greens that are heavily guarded. In addition to numerous bunkers there is also strategically placed mounding separating the holes. The front nine has a few demanding holes that require long carries over ravines but there are also many birdie opportunities. Pelham Hills Golf & Country Club's back nine tests your drives more than your shot-making skills. The golf course is a formidable challenge but generous fairways make it more player friendly.

Difficult but beautiful course
The course was nice and long and worth the money but it is very difficult to play with all the ditches, ravines and water holes. Otherwise it is a nice course. We were disappointed that nothing is marked...not the hole numbers, nor where to go. So it was difficult to figure out what holes were next given some of them were through woods. They need to mark which holes are which.
staff unprofessional especially marshal
For the first time we booked this golf course and my friends came from Mississauga and Milton to enjoy the game. We started at 855 am and at around 8th hole or so marshal came in and told us to play fast as we would 6 hours to complete.
by the time we reached 9 th hole we realized it was just 1104 , seems like some one playing behind us complaint and marshal didn’t even listen to us and dictated his verdict
we finished around 1 14 PM or so and felt pretty disappointed with the attitude , on top there were no numbering on each hole which added difficulty and frustration for us and as we could not even navigate between the holes properly as we were playing for the very first time . Management should take notice till then will never book again , Niagara has many other options

First time visiting this season. Ownership has done a great job with improvements. Excited to see the finished clubhouse.
Ground under repair
The owners seemed to be investing in the course as there anumber of areas under construction . I hadn't played the course in a number of years and I don't plan on going back anytime soon.
Slow, slow ,slow!
Last year we walked off the course after 9 holes took 3 hrs to play.
Thoughtcwe would give them another chance this year.
Even with a Starter & 2 Couse Marshall's, 18 holes still took more than 5 hours to play.
Not a bad course, but only go if you have time to kill!
Course needs work
Looks like the course is trying to improve drainage and course layout has changed since last year. Fairways are hard to reach on 3rd hole, grass hasn't been cut in days.
On the positive side, the fairways were ok, the greens were well kept, and pretty fast.
We will be going again because it's easy to get on and the price is somewhat reasonable.
Pace of play was terrible. Left course after 2 hours only finished 7 holes
Condition were very bad. Grass overgrown and not not well kept. Not worth the $80 in the condition it’s in right now.
Getting better
I see the changes being made here and it is appreciated. Although the price of playing here has gone up, I see the improvements being done.
Not what it used to be!
Played yesterday… hardly anyone on the course. Have played PH many times in the past over many years… we really like it… great layout and value for the money… however, yesterday was the worse conditions I have ever seen. Weather conditions have rendered many holes unplayable due to long uncut rough and standing water. Appears bunkers haven’t been touched this year. Drainage construction everywhere… with no signs of work being done. Many areas that used to be meticulously maintained have been forgotten. Sadly, we won’t be returning this year.
Too much water all over places and lots of repair construction going on, maybe after all, gearing better, but not right niw
Expensive for what you get
The course has a ton of potential but it’s really expensive for the conditions. No signage on any of the holes. No water in 90% of the ball washers. Grass was long but that was to be expected with the wet conditions.
