Pelham Hills Golf & Country Club

The course was in reverse. We were told that the front nine was now the back nine. We started to play and were turned around after the second hole as the hole number not visible. The. When we got to the third hole we were confused as it had hole 2. Luckily we met a member who told us that although it said hole 2 it was actually #3. We also had issues with hole number 8 which was now # 17. Very confusing but issue was the marking for the t off for blue and white not very well indicated.

We were advised that front/back had been switched however upon leaving clubhouse after teeing off, it soon became apparent no signage had been updated. We were told to follow the back 9 signs as the front play however signs were poorly distributed, and I'm some cases non existent. Thankfully a sole player was able to direct us in right direction, admitting it was not ideal signage.

Then, locals/members teed off in front of us, admitting they had teef off, went back to finish Par on #7/16 before walking out in front of us. Would not have thought 2x about it except it was rudely executed... and not necessary.

We are not slow players, even walking and would certainly have agreed to them playing thru but just rude!

Course conditions were very rough for a place charging almost $100. Very disappointing

Lovely course in great condition. It's a real "thinkers" course. Lots of split fairways with Brooks or ponds. Be careful where you hit it. Also some long carries from the white tees o the fairways. I really .liked it and will be back again, just tough first outing. Staff were very freidly. We had a great day out

We have played this course a few times over the last couple of years. Saturday round was not enjoyable. Greens were very slow with several ball marks not getting repaired. We were NOT told there was a mini tournament in front of us. It took us about 5.5hours to play. Marshall was a young girl that drove by smiling at everybody.

Really good course layout. Decent maintenance. Very good golf carts. I will definitely be returning!

Course is always in good shape and pace of play is quick. Well laid out course….enjoyed playing there

We really enjoyed the challenging hills at this course. Greens ran true. Fairways were slightly forgiving, so you needed straight shots for most of them. Due to heavy rains in thre last two weeks, course was saturated ( not the courses fault ) and most balls plugged, few rollouts.

Course was in good shape and pace of play was great. Will be returning to this course 😎

Golf course was in good condition. Unfortunately the GPS info was unusable, it was impossible to figure the hole being played or the hazards on the bli nd shots, that were many . It was really a poor and frustrating round.

Unlikely to came back for a 2nd round

Pelham Hills canceled our round so they could fitnin a tournament. They didn't offer anything in return, just canceled it. GolfNow did not refund my convenience fees. Not a good experience

The proshop canceled our tee time days after because they booked a tournament instead. I was not refunded our GolfNow fees only the green fees.

The course was nice and long and worth the money but it is very difficult to play with all the ditches, ravines and water holes. Otherwise it is a nice course. We were disappointed that nothing is marked...not the hole numbers, nor where to go. So it was difficult to figure out what holes were next given some of them were through woods. They need to mark which holes are which.

For the first time we booked this golf course and my friends came from Mississauga and Milton to enjoy the game. We started at 855 am and at around 8th hole or so marshal came in and told us to play fast as we would 6 hours to complete.

by the time we reached 9 th hole we realized it was just 1104 , seems like some one playing behind us complaint and marshal didn’t even listen to us and dictated his verdict

we finished around 1 14 PM or so and felt pretty disappointed with the attitude , on top there were no numbering on each hole which added difficulty and frustration for us and as we could not even navigate between the holes properly as we were playing for the very first time . Management should take notice till then will never book again , Niagara has many other options

First time visiting this season. Ownership has done a great job with improvements. Excited to see the finished clubhouse.

The owners seemed to be investing in the course as there anumber of areas under construction . I hadn't played the course in a number of years and I don't plan on going back anytime soon.
