Great value!
Played this course before with previous owners and have noticed lots of improvements to clubhouse and grounds since the take over. Great staff, nice carts. Good food and beer prices. Couple minor things could be improved in course conditions but everytime we go they are working on something. Can't golf anywhere else for $34 and get as good value. Will keep coming back!
PERFECT COURSE FOR SHORT BALL HITTERS
Great deal through Golf now! My wife & I cannot hit the ball that far so its the perfect course for us. We arrived a bit early & the staff said tee off anytime you want. Such friendly people!! Course is in great shape despite a few rough tee boxes.
Executive course
Very hilly, and rather steep at times, difficult to walk.
Greens in fair condition, sand traps lack sand and need attention.
Yardage is somewhat questionable at times...
Improvements are in progress, will be interesting next year.

This course is an 18 hole par 58 (two 29s).
There are 2 par 4s on the front 9 and 2 par 4s on the back 9. You can find out the scoring card on their website, so you know ahead of time what this place is like.
Make sure you drive up from the north side, not south side if you are coming from south make sure you have a 4X4 as the Russel road is a dirt road going through the forest and is quite sandy. ;)
No problem coming from the north.
I had a great time, very peaceful place, love the surroundings, very beautiful scenery.

Great Updated fast course
I had heard the course had new managent and hadnt play'd there in atleast fiften years. the last time i was there it was in tough shape so i hadn't been back. what ever the new owners have done has been a good thing. The club house is new and fresh and the course is is great shape! I think that this will be my new thursday night course. I had some wings after my game and they are worth going for on their own. I dont do many reviews but i felt this one was looking into. Saying that I hope that you can get out and have the same experience i did. cheers
