North Granite Ridge Golf Club
About
North Granite Ridge Golf Club spans 320 acres of beautiful woodlands in the heart of Muskoka. The layout plays through large boulders and towering trees across dramatic elevation changes provided by granite ridges, hence the name. The greens are undulating and the fairways are quite narrow, demanding both accuracy and skillful course management. It is home to the longest par 5 in Muskoka at 622 yards from the back tees. The challenges of the golf course are complemented by panoramic views that stretch deep into the forest, providing some scenic respite. Opened in 1999, North Granite Ridge Golf Club is fairly new but it has quickly become one of the area's must-play golf courses.

We love the coarse however 2 of our people have yet to play the back nine because of coarse maintenance,we understand there has to be maintenance but it would of been nice to know ahead and see if we want to chose this coarse or not.
Understanding that you are a third party somehow we should know ahead of time before we book
Thanks

Your at home course
If you and your friends want to feel at home for a round this is the place. You can’t go wrong
Hidden Gem found in Port Sydney
The quality of this course could be compared to other high end courses in Huntsville (Deerhurst Highland and Grandview), but much less $$$ out of pocket. We were able to get a deal at $55 Can each with cart, for this beautifully designed course. The layout was very good to excellent. I decided to play the white tee blocks with the 2 other men who joined us rather than playing the Blue. Don't believe there was that much difference between the blocks overall that would have affected the outcome of my score. I struggled hitting my shots straight to the left on several holes to start and paid the price with a couple of lost balls and a few punch shots. The fairways are normal widths with your typical rough but the tree lines are thick and lots of shrubbery at their base, making it difficult at times to locate your balls. So I struggled for a 7 handicapper and shot +9 on front (ouch), then played very well until 18 where I double bogeyed again for a final +12. My wife played well shooting steady down the middle with a 96. Pretty good for a 30-32 handicapper. Greens were very tough and fast. Basically there is no flat shots on these greens. Sand traps were great with plenty of soft sand. If you have time, bring a camera as there are some great views along this course. Minimal amount of water with a few streams.
Good course for the $, needs improvement
Not one service or beverage cart on the course all afternoon, not even the turn hut was open to serve food or beers. Disappointed in that way. Good course otherwise though.
Scenic course
We were able to get a very good deal. The weather prediction was poor, so we had the course to ourselves. It is a challenging course with some interesting holes. The greens were very good, but the tees and fairways could have been better. There were some stupid pins on hills, but many courses don’t seem to recognize weekend players would appreciate easier pin placements. Overall a good golf experience.
Possibly the best conditioned and most challenging greens in Muskoka.
Really enjoyed a fast game on a tough course in really good shape. We will be back for more this golf season.
Beautiful & Challenging Course
My decision to play this course was based on the positive feedbacks that I read about this course, and they are correct. Beautiful course that winds through lush forest and elevation changes. Would love to play this course in the fall when the leaves turn.
Pretty, challenging course in Muskoka
North Granite Ridge is a good, challenging course. The pace of play was a bit slow but overall decent. The layout and greens were interesting and challenging. We were happy to have a cart because the holes are spaced quite far apart. Overall a good round.
Great value on a challenging layout
Arrived at course 45 minutes early. Were allowed to tee off right away as a twosome.Only problem was there were 3-4 foursomes ahead of us however their pace of play was excellent.First time playing North Granite Ridge and was impressed with the course conditions and friendliness of the staff. Will definitely play again.
Beautiful course but no staff!
It was a very slow round due to the number of 4somes in front of us - novice golfers to say the least and no Marshall on the course as usual. The course really is beautiful and in very good shape given the lack of rain this summer - greens are running slow due to overwatering.
Beautiful Course
We really enjoyed the course but the play was very slow
A Gem in Muskoka
North Granite Ridge is a gem in Muskoka! The beautiful rocks, tee box elevations and the gardens make this course spectacular! To top off the experience, we saw deer on the course! The conditions were fantastic! It was incredible good value for the money!
This course is not for walkers
Bang for your buck it was an awesome time. Lots of sand traps and take extra club as it’s longer than says. Quite fun and amenities were great.
