North Granite Ridge Golf Club
About
North Granite Ridge Golf Club spans 320 acres of beautiful woodlands in the heart of Muskoka. The layout plays through large boulders and towering trees across dramatic elevation changes provided by granite ridges, hence the name. The greens are undulating and the fairways are quite narrow, demanding both accuracy and skillful course management. It is home to the longest par 5 in Muskoka at 622 yards from the back tees. The challenges of the golf course are complemented by panoramic views that stretch deep into the forest, providing some scenic respite. Opened in 1999, North Granite Ridge Golf Club is fairly new but it has quickly become one of the area's must-play golf courses.

A great course - very challenging, great value for money.
Poor shape
Many fairways were burnt and bare - very disappointing for the cost. Many other options at same price point in the area.
North Granite Ridge
Course is in very good condition. I would like if the tee decks were cut shorter
Challenging Layout
Course plays tougher than its slope suggests. Tight fairways leave no room for error. Once off the fairway, or over the green, the result is most often a lost ball. Greens were in great shape with plenty of challenge. The fairway distance markers were not accurate. A rangefinder or GPS is essential. The course layout book was helpful but lacked distances off the tee to recognizable features and only a few distances to the green, bunkers or hazards. The course was beginning to dry out leaving the fairways rock hard. You really need a few rounds on this track to get the feel for the best way to tackle it.
Pretty course.
Nice looking course carved out of the trees. Tight fairways, elevated undulating quick greens, sloping fairways, some large trees, and the odd boulder in middle of fairways make for some challenging course management. Nice facility all around. Greens in excellent shape. Good bunker sand. Course marshall somewhat overbearing in spite of completion of round in under 4 hours.
Beautiful scenery
This course is beautiful for the we . Surrounded by granite and forest. Very tight course so if you can’t hit it straight then the chances are you will lose your ball. Played on a hot humid day so the bugs were everywhere. There where dry areas on the course surprisingly even after all the rain in the previous weeks. Greens were in great shape.
Good weather few other golfers
No rain, a black flies and the like.
No waiting on other golfers in front or. Behind us.
Good technical course
Started with a really friendly arrival from all staff members
Really felt the starter wanted you to have a great round, very friendly and happy.
Course in great condition and a real challenge to play.
The advise given was very wise
Will play again here
Great Golf Course
Loved the layout of this course. Great views Greens in good shape
Many, very scenic holes. Great value.
Played this very scenic course under a cloudless sky. Cart path only on three holes after the recent rain. The fairways and greens were in excellent shape; new sand in all the traps. Looking from the very elevated tee on #3 is like an A.J. Jackson painting of the Muskoka landscape with the trees and the granite. Very few golfers on the course in the late morning when we played. We finished in 4hrs 15 mins.
"Must play" course in the area.
Take the Challenge
A very challenging course, not because of length or hazards, but dog legs, up hill approaches, guarded greens. Looks way on the score card but it will challenge your handicap , no matter the level . Traps are fluffy and well maintained. Fairways a bit thin, but it is early in their season. Greens flawless and have enough movement in them to challenge any Scotty Thompson stick.Try this course , you will like it a lot.
Great course
Got a great deal with Golfnow. I swear we were the only 2 on course. Unfortunately course does not belong to golf Canada so couldn’t enter reasonable score.
Course was in perfect condition after a lot of rain. A few holes were cart path only but otherwise excellent

First time playing. Course was in good condition. Pace of play was good and staff were very friendly. Lunch was good as well. Have purchased another round for this summer with my wife. Well worth the hour and a half drive to get here.
