Richmond Centennial Golf Club
About
Situated just 15 minutes from Ottawa's west end, Richmond Centennial Golf Club is routed through mature woodlands, making it an especially scenic course to visit in the fall. The par-67 course is gentle enough for beginners and juniors, which makes it a great option for families. The golf course originally opened with only one nine in 1967. The front nine has remained largely unaltered over the years, but the back nine that was added later enhanced the course with several challenging elements. The contrast between the player-friendly front nine and the tougher back nine make for an interesting round. Richmond Centennial Golf Club is mostly flat though you will come across a few subtle but tricky slopes. There are also a few water hazards and strategically placed sand traps to watch out for.

Great practice course
Close to Ottawa with an extremely friendly owner. A smaller, shorter course which is great for beginners but has a few holes to challenge an intermediate golfer.
This course was fun to play.
We had fun playing this course. There are a few holes where you cannot quite see where the next shot is going due to high grass either near the green or near the tee. It makes the game a bit more challenging. The staff were friendly and the beer and food costs were low.
I have already recommended the course to others.
Great course just outside of town
If you’re looking for a relaxed afternoon on the links this is it. While the grounds aren’t manicured like other much more expensive courses it’s still very playable and is a great course for someone who is new to the game.
Nice Short Course
Nice short course good for beginners and intermediate level players. Lay-out was a bit worrisome at times as some fair ways were blind from the tee, so players behind you can't see where you are. Otherwise a nice little course in fairly good shape.
Good course for moderate experienced players
A good round for medium or lesser experienced players. The first 9 offers medium distanced, open fairways, with large accessible greens. The second 9 features more "shot-maker" challenges with water in play on several holes.
Conditions were very good, given difficult spring, and early summer weather challenges
Price can’t be beat
Using the Golf Now app I golfed 18 for $15.87 on a Sunday morning prime time. What a deal. Short course for sure but that makes your score look amazing. Longest hole i think is a shade over 400. For not playing the course before I did have some questionable tee shots and approach shots. Front 9 more wide open than the back 9 which was in better condition. How can I complain about anything when it was under $16. Good job.
I’ll be back
The course was in great shape.
Most greens were plush and well maintained. High approach shots were likely to stick with little role.
With temperatures approaching 35C, water stations located throughout the course would have been appreciated.
The staff are friendly and welcoming.
Overall, it was an enjoyable round and I’ll definitely be back.
Great Value
Course was well maintained with pride of ownership. Course staff was very friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend.
Awesome deal
Richmond Centennial is an unknown gem. Par 65 and 4500 yards, you can often play it in less than 3 hours. Also it's pretty, especially in the back. $7.99 hot deal!
Awesome value
Course is a bit shorter, kind of a painter executive course. Very good condition, excellent value, almost no one else on the course.
Updates needed
Course conditions was great. Layout is confusing, deer flies were terrible. Clubhouse needs updating. Staff very friendly
quiet day
course not busy due to election day? and forecast was rain. Greens and course conditions are good.
