Richmond Centennial Golf Club
About
Situated just 15 minutes from Ottawa's west end, Richmond Centennial Golf Club is routed through mature woodlands, making it an especially scenic course to visit in the fall. The par-67 course is gentle enough for beginners and juniors, which makes it a great option for families. The golf course originally opened with only one nine in 1967. The front nine has remained largely unaltered over the years, but the back nine that was added later enhanced the course with several challenging elements. The contrast between the player-friendly front nine and the tougher back nine make for an interesting round. Richmond Centennial Golf Club is mostly flat though you will come across a few subtle but tricky slopes. There are also a few water hazards and strategically placed sand traps to watch out for.

Sahara desert
Poorly maintained and had the sprinklers going off in the middle of the course. They also booked 2 different groups at the same tee time.
course OK
Tee boxes and green are good -- fairways are burnt - no grass - yellow straw
Terrible All Around
They did not honor the Golf Now Rate, they booked tee off times too close together, the fairways are completely burnt, the tee boxes are uneven and they were not enforcing masks to be worn in the clubhouse.
Overall the course was okay. Came across a number off rude golfers and then the manager came spoke to us because we shared a golf kit and supposedly slowed someone down, even though we offered them to go ahead of us. 2 walk on customers were asked to go ahead of me at 1:20, even though I had a pre-booked tee time. Lastly, once I arrived at the course, I was asked to pay $33 more than the GolfNow app showed because "it's Canada Day"
Terrible Course
Terrible course!!! Booked through Golf Now the rate was cart included $37 plus tax and I booked for 1. Get there he charges me full cart. Ended up being over $50. Course at most is worth $20. Carts were not cleaned, garbage in them! The course was average at best. Some tough holes but some real easy ones as well. Greens and tee boxes are right next to each other and a lot of holes you need to walk/drive up towards people hitting. Really disappointing don't waste your money, there are way better courses for that price in the area! Wont be back there.

Great value for money
Was very impressed with the improvements on the greens and fairways. Back 9 is very nice and more of a challenge with several water hazards and deep roughs. We enjoyed our game and will return
This place sucks
They allow more than 4 people to play at a time. There were groups of 8, 6, and 5 and no one managing them. The tee-box are also close to all fairways and was almost hit by several balls and I ended up hitting someone as well.
Nice Improvements
Fairways and greens being well maintained and brush has been tidied up. Tee areas need a little attention.
Revamped Course
Haven’t been on this course in a few years , looks like the new owners are attempting to clean the place up.
They have thinned out the forest and did some repairs to the fairways. Greens still could use a bit of TLC but it was a pleasure golfing this course again. The front 9 layout is kind of confusing , better signage for tees would have been helpful especially at holes 6 & 7.
We had a good round here and will be back next year for a few rounds.
