Bathurst Glen Golf Club
About
Bathurst Glen Golf Club, situated just north of Toronto, is owned and operated by the Toronto and Region Conservation, who placed a heavy emphasis on environmental sustainability during the development of the course. Its commitment to protecting the natural landscape even earned the Bathurst Glen certification as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary course. The executive layout measures to 4,551 yards from the back tees, a manageable length for beginners but there are still some challenges in store for more advanced golfers. The large, undulating greens are balanced by wide fairways that offer plenty of room. The strategically placed bunkers adhere to the natural contours of the
landscape and trees frame most of the holes. Bathurst Glen Golf Club's signature hole is the par-4 14th. This tough hole has two sand traps fronting a sloped green.

nice course
Good for practicing your short game. Course condition was good and game was enjoyable. Sand in bunkers was hard as rock.
Good for beginners
Slow green, slow play, lots of beginners, open & hard fairways and your short shots bounce on the green easily so be prepare to hit less club on every hole. I booked this course by mistake but it'a good course for beginners to play at. I got there 15 min early but the starter kept saying that I was late since they had already put me into another Golfnow three some. I don't care if you put me in another three some but at least they should inform me in advanceand not accused me for being late because they put me in an earlier tee.
Great views
It was fun playing the course although there are limited par 5 holes. Nonetheless, the course has great views.
Nice executive course
This course is a nice, though somewhat short course. There are only a few opportunities to use a driver. Otherwise, the course is very enjoyable.
Friday Golf
Nice place to play my first game of the season! Good for practising all our skills for the season.
nice greens
Great course for learning or working on your short game, good greens great value. The bad there is no way you should be on a cart unless you are handicapped
Longer executive
I'm a 6 handicap playing with a beginner and I found the length and conditions good for an executive course.
Very slow pace of play though as families, children and beginners play with no etiquette and marshall's have no sense of letting groups through. It is entirely understandable as this is the course.
Great length and solid executive course alternative to a driving range.
Pricey for course level
You will not find your ball if in the second cut on some of the holes in the summer. No 17 and 18 are the only holes with some challenge. The spring fees were reasonable and also not many courses were open however I will not play this course at full price in the summer lots of other nice course at a better price point. Also the staff and members were not welcoming for a first time player at the course.
second time
My previous review remains unchanged. It was a very enjoyable day. I'm 75, so don't need a long course anymore. Paired up with a husband and wife couple and a single. The two men were extremely long hitters and they enjoyed the challenge as well. Took 3-1/2 hours. The previous time, played with another single and it took 2-1/2 hours. Excellent value - $17. 99 through GolfNow for green fees.
recommend this course to the average golfer!
I would like to recommend this course to the average golfer.
The course was very easy and it was in good condition. The staffs were friendly.
My afternoon at Bathurst glen
The course was in excellent condition. All the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this course to the average golfer!
overall rate to this course
it is a small yards 18 holes course, good price suit for beginners
Bumpy Greens But A Nice Course Overall
Overall, this course was decent. The pace of play could be slow as I was told a lot of beginner players like to play here. Luckily, the group ahead us let us play through as they were new and holding up the pace. The greens were very bumpy in need of more TLC.
Great little track
Great little track with some challenging par 3's. It's relatively short and the greens aren't the best but I'd play again.
this course was ok
green very bumpy , i was expecting more from this course
Slow
Is very slow....lots of par 3s which slow the pace. crossing over after 9 made it even slower.
not well maintained
not well maintained, worth the deal from golfnow. not as good as before.
Nice Surprise
I have passed this course hundreds of times in my car not thinking it was anything much. However I was very pleased with it when I recently played it! It has matured into an extremely enjoyable experience. Lots of challenge and diverse holes await you. Price was well worth it and staff were very friendly. However if there was any critisysm at all is the amount of birds throughout the course. There were many close calls with hitting them with your shots. Other than that, go enjoy a round!
not happy
Got to the second hole.
Pin in the middle of fairway.
Was told after to give two strokes when within 30 feet of flag.
There was three hole like that.
Will not return at any price.
My Livingroom...
I played more than ten times here this summer. It is a nice natural course. The fairways are not so well maintained like at other courses, but it is fun to play here. Wide fairways, huge greens.
You can easily walk it and train your irons. Barthurst in my opinion does not need a marshal. They have smart people at the tee off. I started once from the back nine because the front nine were busy. Saved me a lot of time and that is what you need as a single golfer, a smart marshal who takes care also of the single golfers.
