Greens are in great shape
A little busy usually but fun to play and forgiving fairways most holes
Good enough for new players
The course is not the best but it is good enough for most golfers. New golfers friendly for players who always hit the balls in the bushes. This course can easily find back your balls.
Was looking forward to family golf on Father's Day. Started at 9:30 am. Had to wait at every hole about 10 minutes. When we got to 9th hole near the clubhouse, around 12;30pm, hoped to grab some food and jump back in the cart but the restaurant and bbq station was not attended to. By the time we got food, it was close to 1 pm. Got back on the course and there were 3 groups backed up so would've been at least a half an hour wait. Decided to quit. Management was nice enough to give us a credit for 9 holes.
Golf cart
I was disappointed in the change in policy in charging us double because there were two of us riding in one cart rather than a single fee.
Great Round: Cart rental is a Rip OFF!
We've always enjoyed golfing Bloomington, but this time they charged us $25/ golfer for cart rentals! You can't book a cart online so we had no idea when booking how much the rental cost was. When we got there, it was an extra $100 for our foursome for two carts. It was Father's Day and my dad was not up for walking so we were stuck! This is over the top expensive for electric carts! Beware of the extra charge! We could have golfed a better course for the same all-in price.
Pace of play = molasses
The pace of play was slower than watching paint dry. There are no marshals in sight to poke and prod those slower groups. But… the course itself is quite enjoyable… if you have 5 + hours to spare.
Very slow pace
When I arrived at hole 10 there is already 2 groups ahead of us at the tee box waiting to tee off, 1 group in the fairway, and 1 group on the green, course has been backed up since hole 2, lost patience and left
Beautiful Day of Golf
Great day of golf. A bit slow because a beautiful summer Saturday afternoon. Players on the course took it all in stride, not pressing. Course in good condition. Good value and friendly staff. The Marshall needs to be more proactive and visible. Have not seen in two of the last three rounds I played there, which would help the pace of play.
Great track
Great course to play. Well kept. I like playing here a few times a year. Range could use some work. Short game area and putting greens are money.
