Green speeds do not reflect PoP

Great experiences last year… Bit of a Wild West this year. No etiquette, PoP or proper attire enforced. We were paired with a guy playing in Crocs, and as you would expect he and his friends laying partner proceeded to take 2-4 shots off every tee (from the blues).

We walked off after 4 hours, completing only 11 holes. Management was nice and understanding, they gave us a free 9 hole credit to come back.

Greens are fast and in great condition. Fairways are very firm. Bunker sand was light and fluffy.

Slow pace

The group ahead of us was very slow , the Marshall was out but I don’t think he realized how so the group ahead of us was playing. I like the course but slow play really takes the enjoyment out of the game for me.

Great golf course

I have played this course for many years, dating back to the 1970’s through several name changes. It is currently in the best shape I have ever seen it. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Pace of play was good. Well worth the money. You will enjoy your round. Give it a chance.

Great track in York Region

This is a great course just north of Newmarket. The course itself is in great condition and the greens can be fast, which I like. I’ve found that the price has been increasing over the last few years which is why I don’t play here as much as I used to. I usually get the hot deal which makes it more affordable. Thanks GP for making those options possible

I prefer if you team people up with people that they are friendly I want to fun golfing not have a bad round because you teamed me with a bad person
