Great Course
I have played Shawneeki a few times over the years and it can be challenging depinding on your level of skill. Lots of water and sand traps but if you can play straight you will be fine. A very scenic course with rolling hills and the staff is very helpful.
1st Time
I have driven pass this course for the past 16 years and never thought of playing there, not sure why. During some time off, my Son and I decided to play a round of golf. He suggested Shawneeki. Glad he did, this is a nice course for an "ok" golfer like myself. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Definitely going to be playing a couple of more rounds there before the end of the season.
Course is in great shape!
The golf course in in great shape. We played in just over 4 hours which is pretty good for a public course. I suspect later in the day or on a weekend would be slower.
The greens were in very good condition, with the exception of peaple not fixing their ball marks. Speed of the greens was pretty good. My guess is they were running about a 9.
Staff was freindly.
Just enough elevation changes to keep this course interesting even if playing it frequently.
Enjoyable Round
The course layout isn’t the best.
Regardless the course is fun to play.
Condition was above average and for the cost it was on par.

Too slow. 1:30 pm tee time.
The front nine is as normal playing speed. The back nine was 50% slower. We kept waiting on everything (Yes I mean everything) shot. The last 6 holes, we would be good on the green and we see 2 groups on the next tee. That’s how bad it was. I’ll have to tee off before 9 am next time.
Pro Shop
It was quite obvious that the person in the pro shop did not want to be there.He was extremely rude and not friendly whatsoever.
We went out to meet the other 2 people in our group that arrived before us and they had the same impression as we did.
He should not be dealing with the pubic with such an attitude.
Of note, the clerks in the snack bar/restaurant were extremely helpful and friendly. He should take notes from his colleagues.
Amazing condition
I have been playing this course for 50 years and this is the best shape I have seen it.
The perfect golf day
I love this course, it is always in great condition and the bunkers have nice sand. The greens were running fast and true, just the way I like em.
