Greens at Renton - Green Nine
About
The Greens at Renton, located in the southwestern community of Simcoe, offers three nine-hole courses that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. Although the nines are nearly identical in ratings and yardages, nine new lakes were strategically added when expanding the original 18 holes at the club and many of the existing holes were redesigned to increase the level of challenge. The Green Course is flat, making it enjoyable to walk. Some of the fairways are narrow and there are trees throughout. There is also the occasional sand trap. The Greens at Renton is also home to a well equipped practice facility that features an expansive driving range, practice bunkers, and a chipping green.

Not bad
Pace of play was slow, course was in ok condition. Didn’t pay much so it was worth it.
Good Value
Greens were in good shape but only ran about 8 on the stimp. Some rough spots on course with areas under construction (ie bunkers) but good to see they are working on improvements. Decent course for the value on green fees but pace of play was a bit slower with waits at a few spots. Shorter track but has some tight tee shots with trouble to be found if you don’t keep it on the short grass.
The Greens at Renton
Wonderful course with some sand and water that can be in play, with some corridor fairways that put a premium on the tee shot.
It’s got some nice elevations, and with three 9’s to play you have to do it more than once.
Perfect
Beautiful day course in great shape very friendly staff.
cold with wind
Very nice course with very friendly staff. Very busy which made pace of play a little slower than usual. Staff did excellent job of handling golfers on a busy day.
Great course
Have not played this course in years.
The fairways were in good shape and the greens were good. Would certainly recommend to others. My son in law had jean shorts on which were a bit of an issue but he was allowed to play. It would help if their dress code was published on their website.
Enjoyable Layout
Course conditions were good but not as good as last month. Fairways were long and the greens were slower and longer than previously but still a very nice course. Lots of tight driving holes and strategy required. Will come back soon.
