Rockway Vineyards Golf Course
About
Rockway Vineyards Golf Course offers an 18-hole championship round with the Niagara Escarpment and the Rockway Conservation Area serving as the backdrop. The course sprawls across the vineyards of the Rockway Vineyards Estate Winery. The rolling landscape provides tricky elevation changes and there are numerous ponds and bunkers throughout the golf course. The layout features large, sculpted greens and fairways that are flanked by more than 60 sand bunkers. The front nine features a challenging set of par 4s and fast, undulating greens. Vineyards's back nine begins gently with short approach shots and birdie opportunities but becomes more challenging once you hit the 13th hole, a par-4 dogleg left.

Great time
Golfing during the so called eclipse.....
Always enjoy the drive down and great surroundings...
If you can handle the bird shots going off in the vineyards then you will enjoy the course
Always leave with a wine tasting and a bottle!
Great condition
The course is in great shape. The greens drained quickly after the rain.
Nice shape , good conditions
Played Rockway for the first time in a few years , really impressed , greens were great , fairways really good , enjoyable , good value for the money
Great value in Niagara
At $66 for weekend play including cart, a great value in Niagara. Fairly wide-open but a good variety of holes. Yardage markers on fairways is always good. Pace of play average. Really enjoyed the outing. Would recommend this course ... good golf value in the region.
Expected Better for region
This is a fairly wide open course so ideally suited for the average player. Fairways are very wide so if you hit straight you won't get in much trouble. Greens were good and fairly flat. Bunkers could all use a truckload of sand, very dry and hard.
The Clubhouse is nice and staff very attentive. Lady in wine tasting room very pleasant and knowledgeable. Never saw the beverage cart till the 18th (4:00PM) so stock up before you head out and at the turn, beer grossly overpriced.
Don't get fooled by "Specials" this is a $45.00 course including cart.
ENJOYABLE GOLF
This golf course is in very good condition. Challenging for a 1st timer, but a GPS will help out. The only thing we didn't like...carts had no cover for the clubs - rained a bit...
Nice course!
5 hour round on a Wednesday
Hard to find balls in the rough, just off the fairway
No cart person out, halfway shack was closed, they said the cart person was out, but we never saw her.
The greens were in nice shape but played very slow
Excellent course, and extra praise to Donny who went above and beyond customer service.
We really appreciated it.

Slow Round
Overall course was in good shape given the time of year. Lots of wet spots which were pretty easy to avoid.
Pace of play was painful. Course could really use a Marshall, there were lots of people taking far too long. And no one seemed willing to let faster players play through.
Will maybe try again later in summer, but will check to see if they are using a Marshall first, waiting on every shot gets very old.
1st. Round
Played Rockway many times before and had a good idea of what to expect for mid April in Niagara. The course was wet and very soft. Pretty good shape none the less considering it snowed a couple days before It was busy but pace was great as everyone was walking. Nice people at the pro shop and well organized.
It was a beautiful warm spring day and we were back in plenty of time to celebrate Sergio's win.
We will be back
Poor conditions but very early in the season
You can take this for what it's worth. We had a lot of rain and its early in the year, but it seemed like the fairways had not been cut yet and greens were shaggy. Not the norm for this course during prime time, but I'd ask if you are going to open the course for the season please ensure it is ready to play.
November Golf
Playing in November is a challenge. This course was in great shape for the time of year.
Great Course
great course...challenging but fair
