Needs better management

I had a tee time for 1:57pm. I noticed it was busy when I arrived. So after I payed they said there was a slight delay on carts, there were numerous groups waiting some were waiting hour+. They had numerous broken carts in which they should of had it handled sooner and not let more then 10+ carts to stay broken. It just seemed very poorly managed

A couple greens had a few rough spots but other than that, I love the course. Great value for the price. It’s short but challenging. A couple weird looks off the tee box but it’s a fun course.

Great staff but course is super rough

We are in a drought, so I will definitely check this course out again on another date. Warning: there are no fairways or bunkers or drink cart and the greens, for the most part, were awful. Hard to find a hittable patch of grass on the tees. My suggestion would be to bring your junker clubs as they will take a beating. No patio for lunch after the round. This could easily have been a 4/5 star review if the course was looking better. 28+25 dollars for the round and cart. I really should have just hit the range instead.

The upside is that the pace of play was reasonable (4h15m) and the people working the course couldn't have been nicer. The layout was interesting, great for long irons. As I said at the top, I am willing to blame it on the drought and try again later.

Happy Hacking!

Zack

badly needs a marshall

course is very dry but expected during this hot summer. The pace of play was ridiculously slow not a marshall seen throughout the entire round. No excuse for that mid day on a Saturday . Had two twosomes playing in front of us no idea why they weren't paired up

Slowest round ever

The course is set up for shot making. Not a long drivers delight. Lot's of elevation changes. I played on Sat at noon. We waited every shot, The round was just over 5 hours. You don't want to walk this course unless you crave a workout while you play. I played with 3 fit guys who walked and they were sorry they did. I ended up driving one of them from the 12 hole on.

Great course, terrible pace of play

Would recommend to friend. Would warn them that the pace of play has been consistently bad. Played Brant Valley 6 times in the past two months, the pace of play is always brutal. 20 min wait for most holes. There’ needs to be a Marshall present. Especially if there is no beverage cart to communicate too as well. Some tee boxes in poor shape. The price of the cart is a little excessive as well. If I did not enjoy the course as much as I do, I would no play here. But the price for the round and the enjoyment I get from the course is enough to get me to pay there. But the constant weight and price of the cart has pushed me to look at other courses.

Golf North has let this one go

Brant Valley can be a great little course - not long, but you have to think about your shots. I played earlier this year and it was in good shape. Today, the fairways are dried out and desiccated - barely playable - and tee boxes are beat up and anything but flat. Greens are reasonable, I won't be going back any time soon.

Hackers paradise

Not enough carts because of the Covid restrictions. I've left a few times because I was told it'd be at least An hour wait for a cart.. (An hour after your tee time)

Staff is friendly and the scenery is very nice. The course is relatively short but tricky.

They only water the greens, not the fairway so expect hard-pan.

Like I said, summer of '20 is VERY busy! And the course attracts a lot of amateurs so it's not uncommon for 18 holes to last 4+ hours on a course that is 5K yards.
