Good course
Greens were a little beat up, but other than that the course is very nice. Would not recommend walking it.
Course good, Pace Brutal
The course itself is in decent shape considering how dry it has been. Why issue with this course is the terrible conditions of cart paths, tea boxes and even some green areas where weeds are showing through. I have a hard time going to Golf North owns this course clearly does not care to look after it like some of their other courses. It’s too bad because the staff are very polite and working hard. the pace of play was brutal. Why would you let out a foursome and then a twosome and then a foursome and then a twosome and so on. Far too long of a round considering we were on carts which we also had to wait 20 minutes for.
Fun course
Very challenging and hilly. Good place to work on making good shots
Disappointed
Very disappointed today, our tee time was10:48 and due to lack of carts We were not able to tee off till 11:30. The pace of play was extremely slow as the-carts should have been coming in at no more than 10 minute intervals. They allowed four walkers to tee off before us which again made the pace very slow. We were allowed to go ahead after 9 holes only to find a single player between two foursomes. . Again very disappointed. We have had good luck with this course in the past but probably wont play there again unless they fix these issues.
Great for the price
Great course if you can get a deal. Paid $45 for 18 and a cart. Definitely worth that price if you can get it. Course was a little dry but it hadn't rained in weeks. Psring extra balls, a lot of small creeks.
This course is very budget friendly and overall nice
Overall a very solid course for a good budget price. Some challenging holes, some very easy holes.
I would recommend the course to everyone and I plan on coming here frequently
Get off the tee early
Great round at a great price! I would defiantly play another round here! It was very challenging yet forgiving. My driver of 10 years broke on the 5th hole... but it turns out it wasn’t really needed if you play smart and hit a 5 iron (Avg.) 220 Yards... still shot +9 through 18. I highly recommend a very early tee time as the corse seemed very busy when we finished. There were groups waiting for golf carts as there is a limited number of carts available.
First time at this course and I was happy I tried it. A very nice layout with a few standout holes. Tees were well marked with a standard layout of the hole. Fairways were nicely cut and weren't too dried out considering the strew of consecutive hot and sunny days. Greens were also in very good shape, just wish there were more dynamics to them. Pretty standard slope and shape. Lots of mature trees and elevation changes to keep you from pulling driver on every hole. Cart paths need some TLC. It's not a very long course and par 5's are actually par 4 in my opinion...
I will definitely return!
Challenging hilly course stay on fairways or you are in trouble. Probably losing a ball or two. Good value for the money will play again.
Needed a caddie
Played BRANT Valley for the first time and what I can say is hire a caddie or hope you play with someone with some course knowledge. Some straight forward holes some not so much. I would have to return there to play to get a better experience for sure. Staff were friendly and seemed organized to the covid standard.
5 hours ??!!!
...speed up play with a paid Marshall instead if relying on volunteers perhaps...
