Always good value
Course is looking really good since hot weather ended. Pace is good depending on who is right in front but we did ok this time out.
Slow pace of play, won’t let you finish rounds.
Pace of play is really slow here no one seems to tell anyone to speed up or anything had a worker come up to us asking if we’ve been waiting around when we said yes she then told us we’d have to leave at 8pm or risk having our cars locked behind the gate …. We weren’t told this when we came in to start the 18 so we got to play 9 and left because we weren’t going to risk being on the other side of the course and trying to find way back on first time playing there
Excellent course from Golf north
Thoroughly enjoyed playing this course as a mid handicapper. Highly recommend it.
Over booked..Why have a Marshall?
The the pace was so Slow, they book too many tee times for teh quality of golfers, many beginners tightly packed together. A useless marshall, more concerned about a Sunday drive having a smoke than the pace of play.
a short coarse like that should not take 5.5 hrs
Greens
I usually play this course 3 times a year and is a hidden gem, unfortunately the greens were not cut and it was really hard to put. We would hammer the ball and wouldn’t even come close
Definitely will not change my mind coming back, bring your A game to play here
Great track but pace of play… wow
I get that expecting to play a round in 4 hours on a weekend is a stretch… but 5 hours and 36 minutes is insane.
SLOW
3 hours to play the front 9 and then we went home. The fairways were in terrible shape. Definitely won't return.
Challenging course
Good time out at the Oaks. Friendly staff and good pace of play!
Bring Your Rubber Boots
Yes, the area experienced a lot of rain in the past couple of days. Had planned to use a power cart, but they were not allowed on course due to extreme wet conditions. Lost a couple balls just off the fairway in long rough (that can't be cut due to conditions). Course probably should have been closed a couple more days to dry out a tad more. Some fairways were fine, but most walkways/cart paths were full of a lot of mud/puddles. Appears a lot of work has gone on in the last couple days to repair these paths... but far from finished. One last thing... GOLFERS! (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!)... PLEASE FIX YOUR BALLMARKS ON THE GREENS! I felt like I actually worked there based on the number of ballmarks I fixed on each green!
