Overbooked
The course was overbooked. 4-5 foursomes waiting on each hole. It took us one hour from our tee time to get to the second hole. This is unacceptable! 7 hours to play on Saturday… it’s a 3.5 hour course
Good Course at an affordable price
This course probably has some of the smallest greens in Ontario. Be careful which tee box you play. Blues May seem like only a couple hundred yards, but the carry distance are much greater……very slow, 5+ hour round….if you want to hit six balls off the tee go to the range….one more thing. The rough is up so watch your shots….easy to lose your ball here….
Great course
We played as a twosome and we had a great time. The only real downside was there were a couple of slow groups in front of us that really didn’t want to let anyone through. Especially the one twosome that had a first time golfer that clearly hasn’t even been to a range. The Marshall who was a younger gentleman should have asked them to let groups through and asked them to leave. Other than that brant valley is a great course. Especially for a golf north course.
golf now
had to cancelcharged admin fee 1 person from group took a half hour not good didnt even get a full refund r
Visiting after 20 years.
Remembered why I hadn't been back for some time; too many blind shots. If we hadn't been playing with regulars, would not be returning again.
Course overall
Course in good shape at the beginning of the season gets dry and harder during the middle of the season
2nd time playing here.
Things have moderately improved over the past two years & the last time I played here.
Areas to improve:
1. Most greens have been chewed up my weeds so it makes it difficult at times to putt and have a good game.
2. Fairways need better irrigation system.
3. Tee boxes were decent, but they could be improved.
4. The road leading into the golf course should be repaved.
5. Staff is friendly but, the beer cart girl.was serving warm beer.
6. Restaurant girl, needs training on proper customer service and the burger I ate, was cold and fries were way too salty.
Bad conditions
We had to play cart path only due to wet conditions. Worst maintained cartpath I have ever encountered, my back was sore after round due to pot holes, bumps , cracks and generally really poor condition.
Favourite valley hole in Southern Ontario
My wife and I played on a cool day with no one behind us. The second hole had always been my nemesis but today the golf gods were with me and I sunk a 7 footer for birdie. The elevation changes, club selection and course management here is always a consideration. The course was in very good shape and drier than I expected. This is very good value and the length of the course is not an indicator of difficulty.
We will be back in 2022
Excellent Experience
Staff was extremely pleasant and enjoyable to deal with, considering the time of year and recent snow course was in decent shape. Course was not super long but unique and had tricky spots which made it fun. Price was very reasonable. Would definitely go back.
The crew at Brant Valley have done a wonderful job at clearing the leaves from the playing area and also clearing some of the danger areas so that mishits were easy to find. The course was in fabulous condition for this time of year. The course played a bit too easy for players with good length as 3 of the white tees were placed at the red tees.
