Mature course, good layout, sand traps needed raking or something to make the sand softer.
Extremely enjoyable round
beautifuk course.....nice layout....challenging enough greens could have been more pure but fine still def going back
Good course to play, moderately challenging, with the ground being wet it was more difficult to negotiate.
The staff are friendly but the course is not.
I think the course is designed to be played from the white tees. Playing from the Blue tees, most tee boxes were set 20-50 yards back in the middle of a forest that doesn't even feel like you are on the same hole. The forest was thinly cut just for these boxes, so you better be able to keep your ball straight with your driver if you are going to play these tees. It felt like they were there just to have them and not meant to be played. The entire layout of the course is pretty bad. Most holes were pretty narrow and hard to figure out what was going on. One par 3 said there was like a 50 yard difference between the whites/ blues, but the boxes were side by side and if you had the blues all the way at the back and whites all the way at the front it would have made for about a 20 yard difference max. Distances in that case were way out of wack, saying the blues were 180 or something... hit my 8 iron (150) and was on the green just short of the pin. Nothing of any interest around the greens.
First time I played here I wasn't a big fan. Came back a year later and really made up my mind. I won't be going back.
Tough price
Not the quality of golf course I was expecting for the price. Tee boxes were destroyed and uneven, Greens were inconsistent, and the fairways have seen better days. Wouldn’t go back.
Royal Stouffville
same story at this course. Overbooked and pace is real slow
Marshal didn't let us finish round we were on 17th hole and it was about 840pm told us its too dark and to skip 18th hole.
He waited in his cart while we played the 17th. We were able to see fine but he wouldn't let us stay.
Would have been nice to allow us to finish considering the course was backed up.
Not happy with the management there
Great Pace and Conditions
Have played here six times this year. I really like it. Pace of play was excellent. 4 hrs for a four ball. Only issue was the “jobs worth” starter. Went on and on. Small problem though. Will visit again
Good relaxing round
Well maintained, and relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed playing here.
Good course to play, moderate difficulty, 18 hole a bit challenging.
Not great value.
$20 cart fee for a total of $70 for twilight - price did not match the quality of the course. Very dry. Most holes are pretty straight forward and not very exciting. However I did enjoy the par 3’s.
