Royal Stouffville Golf Course

Royal Stoufville is a very convenient Golf Course for me. I usually play it whenever I visit Markham. I would like to see the tee boxes leveled out as they are a bit lopsided. Greens are nice. Fast, but true. A lot of trees serve as shade on really sunny days.

First time playing this course. The greens, tees and fairways are well maintained, could do better directions for first timers. Only problem was a 4 ball in front of young men who played loud music, took carts upto greens and tee boxes and were dressed in tee shirts

Tee boxes are set back which gives you a very narrow opening to launch. The weather was bad when we played with high winds and driving rain so the trees and branches were moving around and it was hard to get a read on the driving line. I recommend opening the view enough to take on all weather and course conditions.

Came out for a Father’s Day game, now for 100$ per person I’m hoping for a least decent tee off boxes. They were on slopes, uneven. Very hard to find a flat spot. Yes greens were maintained and looked as they should. Fairways need work as some were dry and most had dead grass. The cart pathways were horrible goodluck trying to ride in peace. Every second there’s a new bump u hit. For 100$ per this course is not worth it.

First time playing and loved it: length and challenge of the holes was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely would play again

Bad experience with staff, almost got shouted at by the starter to hurry up when we actually arrived at the first tee box 3 minutes ahead of our tee time just because he has a full sheet of tee times until 5pm. Could have told us nicely? Why giving us attitude as if we were late??

Then some staff working on trees/lawns in the back 9 will ignore the fact that they were right in your sight about 20 yard in front of you and making huge noise when you try to tee off. It’s not only disturbing but also not safe in general.

Overall pretty disappointing experience ruined by couple people.

We were rained out during the round I would like a refund if possible

Started off ok. Got to the second hole and there was 4 groups on the same hole. Waited almost 15 to 29 minutes on every tee. Called the pro shop to see if I could get a rain check. They told because I used Golfnow that there was no way and I would have to take it up with Golfnow. Prison attendant was rude on the phone and also when I checked in. Don’t think I am ever going back and that sucks because I live so close.

This course was beautiful.

The staff have the tee times spaced out so well.

So enjoyable.

Very good golf course, with great staff and a cozy club house.

My only complaint would be that some of the tee boxes were not flat ground.
