About
Originally a 9-hole course, an additional nine holes were added in 1993, making this a very challenging 18-hole layout with a few monster holes from the back tees (6,721 yards). The course features wide, tree-lined fairways and small greens, as well as water that comes into play on almost half of the holes.
One local told us that short-iron play was important; however, that’s hard to imagine considering the length of some of the holes. Three holes stand out from the tips: Two par 5s play 600 yards or better (No. 11 is 643 yards), and No. 3, a 247-yard par 3. The rest of the layout is of a more reasonable length, particularly from the middle tees, where there are a few short par 5s under 500 yards as well as par 4s around the 300-yard range.
Getting there : From Houston, take Hwy. 290 west and turn right on FM 577. Turn right on Hwy. 105. The course is located 2.5 miles away on the left-hand side of the road.

The greens are back in play. Smooth and true. This course is always fun and has some challenges. Wish the restaurant had been open. A good burger would have been great. Oh well next time.

Many Temporary Tee Boxes
Was surprised to see that there were 6 or 7 temporary tee boxes. Not disclosed during booking. Drove 1 hour to play. Poor value for money for me. Won’t return

Temp greens
The course is in good shape, considering how the summer has been. The greens that have been worked on look great. Be glad when they are open once again. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome.
A must play when your passing thru. Always on my list.

Always enjoy playing here. Staff is friendly and professional. Always seem to run into good people, so if you a teamed up a good time had by all. Still some temporary greens while work is being done. Fun layout and you'll use every club in the bag. Enjoy!

Great country course
For being in the country it’s well maintained. Besides the greens that are being redone everything else was in great shape. Especially the greens. Really hard to do with the drought we are in.

Surprise! No greens!
Playing here is normally a fine experience. Imagine our surprise when we learned, AFTER TEEING OFF, that almost half of the greens and one tee box are temporary. While we applaud every effort at improving golf grounds, it seems proper that golfers be advised of playing conditions.
NO ONE IN THE PRO SHOP SAID ANYTHING ABOUT IT The GolfNow website says nothing. If one does not read everything on the BCC website, one is ignorant of the situation.

Our goal is to provide our golfers with all relevant information when booking their round online. To that end, it is listed under Tee Time Notes on the GolfNow website that we are currently resurfacing some of our greens and the course currently has 6 temporary greens. There is also a course alert which restates the details of the temporary greens. There is a third notice linked to the underlined text just under the course alert which opens a pop up detailing the 6 temporary greens.
