About
Originally a 9-hole course, an additional nine holes were added in 1993, making this a very challenging 18-hole layout with a few monster holes from the back tees (6,721 yards). The course features wide, tree-lined fairways and small greens, as well as water that comes into play on almost half of the holes.
One local told us that short-iron play was important; however, that’s hard to imagine considering the length of some of the holes. Three holes stand out from the tips: Two par 5s play 600 yards or better (No. 11 is 643 yards), and No. 3, a 247-yard par 3. The rest of the layout is of a more reasonable length, particularly from the middle tees, where there are a few short par 5s under 500 yards as well as par 4s around the 300-yard range.
Getting there : From Houston, take Hwy. 290 west and turn right on FM 577. Turn right on Hwy. 105. The course is located 2.5 miles away on the left-hand side of the road.

Always enjoy playing here. Staff is friendly and professional. Always seem to run into good people, so if you a teamed up a good time had by all. Still some temporary greens while work is being done. Fun layout and you'll use every club in the bag. Enjoy!

Great country course
For being in the country it’s well maintained. Besides the greens that are being redone everything else was in great shape. Especially the greens. Really hard to do with the drought we are in.

Surprise! No greens!
Playing here is normally a fine experience. Imagine our surprise when we learned, AFTER TEEING OFF, that almost half of the greens and one tee box are temporary. While we applaud every effort at improving golf grounds, it seems proper that golfers be advised of playing conditions.
NO ONE IN THE PRO SHOP SAID ANYTHING ABOUT IT The GolfNow website says nothing. If one does not read everything on the BCC website, one is ignorant of the situation.

To that end, it is listed under Tee Time Notes on the GolfNow website that we are currently resurfacing some of our greens and the course currently has 6 temporary greens. Carts back at 6:30? Really?
I played here last weekend on Saturday and course is in great shape. The only thing that really aggravated me is the fact that I booked a 5:00 tee time considering the heat index has been around 120 degree and I was waiting for it to cool off a little bit and they told me carts had to be back at 6:30? Seriously? It's on the weekend and it doesn't get dark until 8:30?. I could see 7;30 but not 6:30. What is even the point of selling Twilight Tee Times from 5:00-6:00. You going to play for 30 minutes with a 6:00 Tee Time. They definitely need to have something on golfnow telling you this before you make a Tee Time. But with all being said the course was in really good shape and I would play it again just going to have to make sure I play it early in the morning next time.

Decent course, not worth the money
This course is too expensive to not have friendly staff and not well maintained.

Nice track near Brenham
The course was in good condition. Greens were well maintained, and the holes are challenging. The layout is somewhat confusing, and you have to zig-zag around several holes. The signs help, but unless you are familiar, you'll have to find your way on several holes because of the layout. The course was a good place to play and we plan to go back.
