About
Originally a 9-hole course, an additional nine holes were added in 1993, making this a very challenging 18-hole layout with a few monster holes from the back tees (6,721 yards). The course features wide, tree-lined fairways and small greens, as well as water that comes into play on almost half of the holes.
One local told us that short-iron play was important; however, that’s hard to imagine considering the length of some of the holes. Three holes stand out from the tips: Two par 5s play 600 yards or better (No. 11 is 643 yards), and No. 3, a 247-yard par 3. The rest of the layout is of a more reasonable length, particularly from the middle tees, where there are a few short par 5s under 500 yards as well as par 4s around the 300-yard range.
Getting there : From Houston, take Hwy. 290 west and turn right on FM 577. Turn right on Hwy. 105. The course is located 2.5 miles away on the left-hand side of the road.

membership privileges
I do respect the club membership of any course, privileges the members receive are the reason people join the golf club. But should you allow a six man group to play on the weekend during prime time?? When one of them is walking. The fact is that we did not see this group until we were on hole 8, which means they possibly started on hole #10????

Almost there
Course under construction with machinery and workers on a few holes. Great Greens and layout. Wide open fairways with strategically placed trees to keep you on your toes. When this project is finished, BCC is going to be a gem.

Cracks in the fairway greens were good no grass in the rough however to be fair they are doing construction to irrigate the course

Greens were good fairways were so so rough was really rough with almost no grass to be fair they were doing construction for irrigation so they could water the course people were very friendly

Check before booking
Having been to the course several times and Having a great golf experience, today was a major disappointment. 2:45 and didn't get in 9 holes. If a tournament is going to be played on the course PLEASE DO NOT BOOK !!!
It has been a long time since it took 30 minutes to play a hole. The staff was apologizing and I appreciate their concern. However Sterling Golf Management made a major blunder and should be held responsible. Are you paying attention John? Poor management is not going to get repeat customers! I cannot express the displeasure felt without offending verbiage. To all those that know and enjoy this course and the friendly staff, let's hope that this can be improved on.
So sorry folks. I usually have good reviews. This time though consider the warning. Call before you book.

Nice course considering drought conditions
Drove up from cypress and course was in nice shape. I got a descent deal so didn't mind the 45min drive. Greens were nice and fairways in good shape. Cold water on many holes. Looks like they were going to start laying new sprinkler lines in as few mud spots here and there. I would definitely recommend as it was a good challenging course with friendly locals.

Nice course considering drought conditions
Drove in from cypress (45min drive) and was pretty good value for nice condition. Greens are in good condition current drought we are in. I would definitely play again if i got same deal and with gas prices hopefully going down as quick as they went up . Cold water on many of the holes. Can definitely tell the take care of the course and invest back into it. Looks like they were about to redo sprinkler lines soon too (few mud patches here and there).

Different design
The Texas heat and dry Spring and Summer have dried out the rough to the point of widely cracking the ground. The greens were slow (stemped at perhaps 6-7) but had break that you couldn’t see unless you played here before. The tee boxes are placed in such position that those approaching an adjacent green need to beware of shanked shots ( esp 9th forward tee and oncoming approach to adjacent 10th fairway). They have several watering stations dispersed at many tee boxes. Many doglegs to the right at least 200 yds off tee boxes (e.g. 16) demand strategy or else second shots blocked out be trees and brush.
