About
Originally a 9-hole course, an additional nine holes were added in 1993, making this a very challenging 18-hole layout with a few monster holes from the back tees (6,721 yards). The course features wide, tree-lined fairways and small greens, as well as water that comes into play on almost half of the holes.
One local told us that short-iron play was important; however, that’s hard to imagine considering the length of some of the holes. Three holes stand out from the tips: Two par 5s play 600 yards or better (No. 11 is 643 yards), and No. 3, a 247-yard par 3. The rest of the layout is of a more reasonable length, particularly from the middle tees, where there are a few short par 5s under 500 yards as well as par 4s around the 300-yard range.
Getting there : From Houston, take Hwy. 290 west and turn right on FM 577. Turn right on Hwy. 105. The course is located 2.5 miles away on the left-hand side of the road.

As the Texas summer heat approaches, so glad the opportunity to play was available. All the work from installing new water lines has paid off. The greens are in great shape and shade trees are full and green. If you keep in mind where the Blu bell creamery is you'll drop more putts. Be sure to stop in for a bite to eat. Staff are friendly and a must when in the area.

Going hole to hole was tricky for first timer out there but greens were nice and fairways were playable!

Great Greens
Great greens roll is true!!! Fairways are great coming out of winter! Staff was very polite and informative. Not one bad green that I could tell from. Will be back and soon! Driving in from Austin!

membership privileges
I do respect the club membership of any course, privileges the members receive are the reason people join the golf club. But should you allow a six man group to play on the weekend during prime time?? When one of them is walking. The fact is that we did not see this group until we were on hole 8, which means they possibly started on hole #10????

Almost there
Course under construction with machinery and workers on a few holes. Great Greens and layout. Wide open fairways with strategically placed trees to keep you on your toes. When this project is finished, BCC is going to be a gem.
