Sand Hills Golf Resort

The staff, manager and golf north should be ashamed of the conditions of the course. The fairways are comparable to cement. The cart paths are full of pot holes. The ball cleaning stations were filthy and smelling of stale water. This could be a beautiful course with the layout but is not maintained. Other courses in the area remain lush and green while this one disappoints. I realize it's been a hot summer, but other courses seem to be able to manage. Why can't you?

This course is in horrible shape. The fairways are burnt to a crisp and rock hard. You hit a nice drive in the fairway and then you can't hit a wedge properly as it just bounces off the rock hard ground. It looks like it could actually be a pretty nice course but it needs water bad and is over priced for this shape.

I got a sandwich and a chocolate bar at the turn which was 14.50. The sandwich was old white Dempsters bread with a kraft single and a little bit of turkey. What a rip off!

Go somewhere else you can find much nicer courses for the price.

Great course greens were in great shape. One minus was the major amount of clover and dandelions in the short rough off fairways and on a couple of the actual fairways, made it very difficult to find your ball. Great day of golf but would be even better if they cut the clover down a little shorter.

Perfect spot to enjoy a fun round with little difficulty. But the golf carts are dated and need repairs

Staff was awesome and overall a good afternoon

Not a bad course, fairly flat and short if you aren't hitting it straight could be a challenge on some holes with water and long grass in places, greens are decent and undulating, carts are a bit rough but ran fine

Been here several times. Always a good place to play. Staff is polite and friendly.

Course is in very decent shape. Few challenging holes, and a couple of tricky greens to keep you on your toes. Will definitely be back few more times this season

took 5 hrs to play as no ranger play was 5 to 10 min for every shot as many as 4 groups waiting on every tee.

Could really use there carts updated I seen at least 3 people lose there clubs cause the strap hold does not tight up

Friendly staff, great course for beginner golfers. Very well maintained

I played this courses prior to golf north purchasing it and I can't believe how much worse it is now that they own it. I won't be playing there again.

Course was in terrible condition considering there was much opportunity to make it beautiful!

Three of us played. Fairways were extremely wet. Greens were in great shape considering it was Oct 23rd. Cart fees were too high considering the condition of the carts. One of the other groups on the course had the roof come off their cart as it was not fastened on properly. None of the carts had windshields which considering how windy it was would have been nice to have. The cart I used often had trouble starting.

Pace was extremely slow due to a couple oh geriatric groups. Marshal was busy yacking with his buddies. Never went out on course to speed up players.

Aerated greens with no sand to fill in the holes. Largest sand dunes in Ontario across the street. Golf carts are the worst. Oldest ones in Ontario make it to Sandhills. Terrible value for the money,

Great course. Well cared for by the Grounds crew. Lots of attention to detail. Greens were great and very fast. Top marks to the crew for conditions.
