About
Tucked away in the Blue Mountains, The Club at Lora Bay offers a stunning view of the Georgian Bay. The golf course was carved from the mature woodlands along the Nipissing Ridge, incorporating wildlife preserves and century-old barns into the design. The scenic course even features idyllic apple orchards along the fairways. While the rustic charm can be enchanting, don't let it distract you too much from the challenging layout. Numerous bunkers are strategically placed throughout and brooks and ponds come into play on several holes. The third hole is one of the toughest on the golf course. It is the longest par-3 with a pond that runs all along the right side from tee to green and trees and a tricky bunker to the left.

Everything was fine...except the check in bag drop person....we arrived early hoping to hit some balls at the range when this person told us we could only get our cart and load up 1/2 hour before tee time.....well by the time we got the cart & loaded up our clubs...we only had 10 minutes or less at the range as we were told to be at the first tee 10 minutes before our tee time....who does this...who makes these rules....we arrived at least an hour early just so we could hit balls at the range...with the above rules...we had no time to warm up really....I was very disappointed and would certainly complain if it happened again....if I ever return to play your course...please let people go to the driving range at any time to warm up....this guy was crazy...no one does that.
Great Course
Well defined risk versus reward layout. Fairways in excellent condition and the greens are quick plus challenging.
The Rangers need to be more understanding of distraction
Rangers always parked there cart as if we were a bother to them. As far as I’m concerned I paid to play golf and they were always there to distract our group we were on time and always were concerned of the rules that were in place. I think they should rethink the way they watch the course
The course is beautiful. The service just average at best! We were told there was a cart girl by the starter and it was very hot. After nine went in to the club house and found out there was no cart girl. We really needed a beverage. Cant go to the range 30 minutes before your tee time so warm up is a rush. Get back to serving the golfer whos paying top dollar!
Great course
Only thing I would like to see improvement on are the sand bunkers.
Pace of play
The two couples two groups head of us were ridiculous.
The ladies in front of us skipped a hole to get ahead of them and later, so did we.. No rangers. These people saw us (twosone). Nobody to be seen ahead and did not let us go through.
No idea how to play ready golf, one woman looked like
a beginner, 5 practice swings, hit the ball 30 yards.

Course is great! Need to set up easier access to get a drink especially on the back nine. Cart girl only accepts credit card and machine wasnt working. Got our drinks but was an ordeal.
The sand trap were like cement but the course and views were great!
Poor Booking Policy
I organized 8 guys to play at this course - one of them caught COVID and could attend, but the course refused to give me a refund, despite the exhaustive COVID waiver they had me sign.
The owner did not empower his manager to do anything other than provide me a raincheck to a course that I will never play again.
Poor policy and management for a what I would consider a premium course. Very disappointed.
Very disappointing
I don't get the positive ratings on this track. It was in terrible condition and the layout is very "tricked up". Many holes were just not well designed. Bad design + poor condition + slow play.
