About
Tucked away in the Blue Mountains, The Club at Lora Bay offers a stunning view of the Georgian Bay. The golf course was carved from the mature woodlands along the Nipissing Ridge, incorporating wildlife preserves and century-old barns into the design. The scenic course even features idyllic apple orchards along the fairways. While the rustic charm can be enchanting, don't let it distract you too much from the challenging layout. Numerous bunkers are strategically placed throughout and brooks and ponds come into play on several holes. The third hole is one of the toughest on the golf course. It is the longest par-3 with a pond that runs all along the right side from tee to green and trees and a tricky bunker to the left.

The only issue we had was there was no beverage cart on the course. It would have been nice to have a few beers!
Lora Bay Golf
We added Lora Bay on to. Short trip to play Cobble Beach. While both clubs were fun we found Lora Bay to be excellent. Fun course to play and while challenging it is also very playable.
We were paired up with a member which gave us lots of course knowledge.

Unfortunatly removing the personality of the course
The staff was very unfriendly. I thought either they didn't want to be there or they didn't want me to be there. They charge me a full greens fee to have my wife sit in the cart with me because she had foot surgery. The course is being re-done to make it play faster they removing all the bunkers and it just lost its personality. I love the course when I felt like I was playing in up north course. They now have so much new building going on for condos and houses. I feel like I'm playing in a city. So sorry to see the changes at Lora Bay
going the wrong direction
They charge me full golf greens fee for my wife to ride with me.Very unfriendly staff. The are building so many condo it is ruining the course. The course is just ok now. The place is going down hill
Great Course
First time here. My wife and I had a great round. Thought it a bit pricey at first, but loved the course and we will be back. Had 6 pars from whites and shot 88 … so even though there is water and sand, there are lots of getable holes. Beautiful views of G.Bay.
Scary
We had 4 members in front of us
We lost sight of them and apparently we hit into their group
They became very nasty and were looking for trouble
Kind of shocked us
Our t off was 12:40 and they were in front
Just thought should let u know as they aren’t the kind of people you want representing your course
Slow Greens and punitive rough
Don't understand why the greens are setup so slow. Also several holes had very deep punitive rough. Put your drive in it and you're chopping the ball out with a wedge.
Every Year Just A Little Worse
This use to be one of the better courses in the area but like with many courses, the value to build homes has just been to tempting. The course is under major construction as there are houses being built on atleast 40% of the holes, the design of the course is getting worse as they accomodate the new builds. The price is just not worth it, many of the beautiful holes are now gone and the the front 9 (which use to be the back 9), is just terrible, flat, along the highway and boring.
needs to be spruced up
We played behind a 5 some, no marshall in sight. Signage was limited. cart paths were treacherous. cart girl was non existent. sand traps were in total disrepair. For what they charged us, it should have been a much better experience. very disappointed.
