About
The par 3 Executive Course (1,052 yards) features small greens and narrow fairways lined by houses. These tiny greens are difficult to hit, so your short irons must be on or you'll be working on your up and downs. Like the big course, this layout incorporates several small lakes. Ladies and men play from the same set of tees on this course.

Great layout that needs a Lot of maintenance its not getting. Clean up, seed and water for fairways. Greens v fast but not necessarily true roll. Challenging track, Lots of water, even frm black (fwd )tees.
Lots of water
Fairways are dry due to drought in the whole RGV.. THE FOOD AT THE GRILL WAS GREAT.
Greens are good, very fast. Hard to hold.

Fair to poor
Compared to other courses in the RGV it is average. Greens are better than lot of other courses. Fairways are barren and where there is grass it is mostly weeds. Sand traps are poor.

Valley challenge
This was my first and probably last visit to play this course. It’s not a dream course and definitely not up to par with others in the RGV. The fairways are not well defined or maintained. The greens are ok, not sure the type of grass used but different from the other courses around. The layout is not user friendly for a first timer. They have one centrally located bathroom about midpoint and very few ball washers in working order and all were without a towel. Good water hazards poor sand traps.
Great course layout
Once you play this golf course, you will be back for more! It offers challenges with the numerous resacas, it is a lot of fun and to me, the best golf course in the Rio Grand Valley. Trust me, you will love it.
Course and greens getting better ach round.
Course was a fine shape for south Texas. Too many golfers for play as a single. Golfed with 2 Canadians on back nine, One fellow golfer mentioned the slower pace of play.

Greens in good condition, course in better shape than last einter

The course was in good shape. Tee boxes were very good and the greens were fine for south Texas. The clubhouse is coming back after the fire wiped it out.
OK
This course is OK for a change of pace. Wouldn't want to play it regularly. Fairways sparse of grass. Rough needs mowing. Greens fast but ball bounces around on straight putts.
Excellent Prices
Low prices and the course is challenging enough for a beginner like myself. The location is great too, very peaceful.

Solid course layout. Not in the best condition, but the greens roll nicely. Overall great value
