Won't go back
Many better courses that r closer to TO. No sand in bunkers. Terrible customer service in pro shop. We had a cart that would not make it up the hills , actually roller backwards on many and almost backward in creek on 18 th hole. Told pro shop about problem and the GM said straight up that the carts were brand new and actually suggested that we did something to the cart. I told her that she could come with me to the cart which was at the bottom of 18th as it died there. Her answer was she was on the way out and couldn't but was willing to blame the customer about the poorly maintained cart. No business sense on how to treat the paying customer in this very competitive industry . Would not recommend this course solely based on the pro shop personnel.
Needs work
The course has too many blind shots wherein you do not know where the green is from the tee box on many Par 4s and 5s . If you are playing it for the first time or it's been a while, you're questioning do I aim left, right, middle, where am I aiming exactly? Some of us are old school and like using blue and red stakes to measure 200 and 100 yards respectively. None to be found. You really need a GPS, or one of those Course yardage books, or a partner who knows what is in the blind spots, who can direct you. Many traps were lacking sand and your wedge couldn't get under the ball. To be fair , the Greens and fairways were in very good shape.
Well worth the drive!
Wonderful experience even though it was a little damp in areas. Love the layout and enjoy the variety of the holes. Well worth the drive from Toronto!
Booked Legends course online... Told we were playing legacy course when we got there... Legends was too busy??
Paying was confusing.
Majority of the course was good, Greens were brown...
Nice warm day
Courses generally in good condition. One particular thing I don't like is the packed sand in bunkers having tiny stones that scratch the club. Some green areas look like worn out carpet. Pace of play is good. Will comeback to play again.
good challange
considering the whether we have had the greens were still fast and firm. The course was also well maintained.
Legend Course in May
Great layout other than a few blind shots that made for some frustration, haven't played the course before. Nice routing through the trees throughout most of the course, some well-placed water hazards too! Fairways were a bit soggy and the clumps of wet grass clippings made finding the ball even in the fairway a challenge at times. Given that there were several consecutive days of heavy rain, the course was still quite playable. The bunkers do need some sand though, I'm bad enough out of the traps as it is! There are a few holes where driver accuracy is a must! Looking forward to playing Legacy course for the first time on my next visit here!
Enjoyable round
Very nice course overall. Interesting holes. Some odd layouts. Will go back.
Beautiful Golf Course
If it's your first time to play this course, watch out. There will be a lot of elevation change and wide bunkers guarding the greens. Most of the clubs I used were one plus so don't rely to much on your GPS. Very challenging and scenic.
The course in great shape!!
Really fun course to play! Some approach shots can be difficult! Hitting the fairway is a must. Greens are fast and true! Really good!
Great day playing with my son
Good day for fall golf. Played early and course was empty. Course has nice elevation change and requires good shotmaking. A few blind shots so it would help to play second time. Greens were in excellent shape.
Great Track
Nice, interesting layout. Course in good shape.
Needs Some Work
There's two things that really didn't sit well with me with this course. The lack of a full driving range. They have a warm-up range which is 190 yards so you can't warm up your driver. The second issue I have is with the sand in the bunkers. Its sandbox quality and very poor as far as I'm concerned. I've played less expensive courses where the sand in the traps are white and soft and playable. Unlike the sand that is on this course.
Fix those two things up and I'd be more than happy to pay full pop...until then I'm not rushing back anytime soon.
Green green green - no green at all
Nice course - I like it but this year all the green are very very bad - need to be fixed badly - check with the proshop before go play.....otherwise you will be disappointed.!!
Good, but no wow factor.
Pretty good track. Legacy course is links style. We played in high winds and there was little to no cover. Switched over to the original course after 9 and was much more wooded and narrow. Course is in decent shape, not the greatest. Greens need some love. Overall, not a bad experience, but wait for a deal on this one. Not worth full pop.
diamond in the rough
this course is seriously the best value for the dollar. incredibly challenging and course is always in great shape. definitely my fav course. if you dont mind driving 45mins to 1hr from the city for golf then this is the place to be.
