Century Pines Golf Club
About
Century Pines Golf Club features a lush, parkland layout covered in mature maples, oaks, and pines. The trees border the carefully sculpted fairways and there is mild undulation in the large, fast greens that can cause the occasional uneven lie. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes in the form of large ponds and meandering creeks. Several sand bunkers are also strategically placed throughout. Century Pines Golf Club's final three holes are the most challenging on the golf course, possessing the ability to either make or break your score. These demanding holes require deft approaches, especially considering the treacherous water hazards on all three.

Good value
Overall I found the course average and good for the price, I have no complaints at all, although no holes really stood out as especially appealing to the eye, the course layout was nice and it played as a moderatly difficult par 72 track.
Well treed course with green fairways throughout
A lovely course with some water hazards and sandtraps but not so many as to impede your game. Pay attention to the map on the scorecard to avoid most hazards.
great layout
really enjoy the course, challenging but still fair.
unprofessional
They double booked for the time we were there, trying to get a large amount of people off to keep it open for the regulars the rest of the day.. I got my money back and left after waiting 30 minutes on the first hole for 3 groups and 11 people to finish .
great time?????
Layout
Liked overall property, very nice and on good condition. Overall layout was dangerous due to direction of play, balls were crisis crossing fairways, with fore being the word of the day. Would have liked a hard hat...having said that, did not get hit by stray balls, felt it was good value and would probably play again....R
well maintained
this course is well maintained and pretty.
Has some challenging holes and it would be an easy and enjoyable course to walk.
Be prepared to loose some balls, you see where they land but they dissapear!:)
First time at Century
Excellent course. I wonder why I haven't tried this before.
Nice track
Very true greens, great course for a mid to high handicapper. Bunkers have rather heavy sand.
Ok course but poorly run
This is the 2nd time I played this course in the last month and both times have not been a good experience. Pulling up to the first tee there were 2 foursomes waiting to tee off ahead of us. It was 2 pm and the starter was leaving for the day. This is a fairly easy and short course and should not take more than 3 1/2 hours to play. It took 5. Waiting for 15 mins on every tee and not one Marshall on the course. This is why courses are struggling and the game of golf gets a bad rep. Will not play here ever again.
Took way to long
5 hours to play a course during a weekday is way to long, they always over book , course is great fun course, but pace of play needs to be speed up, instead of waiting on every hole to tee off
We would play here again in a heartbeat.
Course was very well maintained and the the was courteous and helpful.
Great course.
What a fun course. Beautifully maintained and great for walking. Go Play!
Course is in great shape
Escaping the most recent deluge that left local areas under water, the course continues to firm up nicely. Greens are almost impeccable despite the careless neglect of ball marks by inconsiderate players. The course plays well for a moderately skilled player. Longer drivers trying to play from the whites will struggle a bit; suggest playing the plays to set up better second shots to the green. Played twice in the last ten days, and played here a number of times in the past.
Hidden Gem
A flat course which was nice for a change and in great shape. Had no idea this course was there, but will definitely go back.
Well groomed course!
First time playing here! Well groomed, friendly staff, paired with another couple that were fun to play with. Course was a little challenging, which was good! Would play here again!
Good going
Liked it! Nice course and friendly staff. Some nice challenging par 4s.
Kaneff continues to provide good value for the money.
Century Pines provided a challenge for myself and my son who is new to the game. As expected for a Holiday Monday, pace of play was slow. The course is in good condition and is worth the drive from Oakville during the week, when rates and pace of play are much better. When combined with the friendliness of the Starter, this course continues to be a place to put on your list of places to play. Vincent.
My first visit ...
A great value for money Kaneff course not far north of Hamilton. The only downside to my Friday afternoon round was the group three ahead of us which the Club Pro (we were told) was part of. They were so slow at one point there three groups waiting on a tee to play, luckily it was later in the round so it still meant we were round in a little over four hours.
Well worth a visit, just make sure the Pro's not playing that day ;-)
value play
we booked an early bird special for $10 each, less than 25% the normal rate. the course was in very good condition - fairways, greens and traps.
not terribly long but enough trouble if you stray off the fairways
an easy and enjoyable walk and would recommend it at $30-40 as well
disappointed
The course itself was beautiful
Clean fairways and well groomed greens.
BUT! There may as well have been no marshals at all even though I seen many of them.
The pace of play was despicable
There were 4 groups on every hole. The wait time just to tee off was at least 10 min a hole. There were groups playing blues or even blacks that couldnt even hit the fairway. I always believed marshals were on a golf course for just such a reason. I guess they are there just to ride around in golf carts and enjoy the day. To bad very nice course but badly controlled. Will never return because there are hundreds of beautiful courses in the area and theres no sense going to a course like that.
