Century Pines Golf Club
About
Century Pines Golf Club features a lush, parkland layout covered in mature maples, oaks, and pines. The trees border the carefully sculpted fairways and there is mild undulation in the large, fast greens that can cause the occasional uneven lie. Water hazards come into play on 12 holes in the form of large ponds and meandering creeks. Several sand bunkers are also strategically placed throughout. Century Pines Golf Club's final three holes are the most challenging on the golf course, possessing the ability to either make or break your score. These demanding holes require deft approaches, especially considering the treacherous water hazards on all three.

Good value....but!
Played on a nice day, course, other than a few spotty greens. in good shape. If you're a senior though, there rates Monday to Friday are better than what they post on Golf now so phone the course directly.Only complaint, but that's pretty much the same anywhere in Ontario unfortunately is how they abuse beer prices! One foursome, four tallboys, $32.00 That's just nuts! You'd sell a lot more if the prices were better but at $32 a round, not gonna happen.
Really Nice Course To Play
Our group enjoys playing at Century Pines. A rewarding score for those who can stay on the fairway. Definitely not a long course. Always in excellent shape
Just okay
Played Century Pines for the first time (on Father's Day). Course was overbooked, 7mn Tee Time Intervals, making a log jam at the 1st Tee. Over 5 hrs on the course is crazy. Only saw Cart Girl twice in those hours too. Probably wouldn't play again.
Good Bang for the Buck
This course Is the best value for the money of any Kaneff course. Tight fairways and challenging holes. Can score easy on the back 9 with some short par 4's but have to keep the ball on the fairway. Lots of trees line every fairway
Father's day golf
Had the opportunity to play with my sons and son-in-law on a beautiful day in June. The course was great, we were not rushed and had a great round. We were joined by a fox for a hole or two.
a nice walk in the park
first time playing this course....it's in good shape, greens in particular. glad i walked instead of taking a cart, it's an easy course to walk with no distance from green to tee and no elevation changes. fairly short course with a bit of trouble but not on every hole. very enjoyable round.
Shot makers course....
The more I play this course the more respect and appreciation I have for it. Century Pines offers good value, only because the greens were in fair shape. They rolled good for this time of the season, just that there were a few bare spots along the way. The staff was extremely cooperative when the 7 of us showed up with various coupons to make it all work,
Erich.
A nice challenging course
The course was in pretty good shape considering the winter we had. A couple of greens were rough, but overall they were in fantastic shape. Tight fairways and strategic water and sand traps made this a very enjoyable play. Staff was friendly, starter was a great guy! Only issue was with one marshal, who, although a friendly guy, had a tendency to show up and sit behind you while you were hitting, with his radio turned up to full volume! We heard of green repairs going on half a course away! Finally had to ask him to turn it down after a couple of instances. Overall though, a very nice, challenging course for a reasonable price.
Nice course...shaggy greens
First time playing this course..very accomodating to all golfer types. I thought the greens were shaggy and slow though.
slow play
In my opinion the course was way overbooked. We teed off 15 minutes later than we where supposed to. It took us just over three hours to play nine holes.
Great Day to Golf
Another great day on the links, which was made all the better in the company of good friends, some good scores, great course conditions, and of course finished off with the special o the day,a pitcher of ice cold beer and some delicious chicken wings. The entire experience was made all the better due to the very helpful ,friendly staff.
Would highly recommend this facility.
Well maintained and worth the short drive (1/2 hour)
Considering the long winter and the current run of wet/soggy weather this course was in rather good shape. My range finder agreed with course markers and distances. The fairways had a good substructure allowing for smooth ball contact rather than club bouncing.
Good course with challenging holes
The course is in very good condition. Not extremely long but requires course management as most of the holes are a little tight. Teed off early and the pace was very good.
Slow
Started at 4:00pm and only finished 13 holes in 4.5hrs. Also Black tees appears like an after though and feels like your force to hit over top of other golfers or stand where others are hitting over you.
Value, value, value
Course was great value for the money. Overall course was soggy due to all the rain, but a pleasure to walk. Greens in decent shape. Bring your own drinks as drink cart was narry to be seen.
Average course
Considering the winter the course was in fair shape. We golfed on a Sunday afternoon so we expected a slower pace and we got it at 5 3/4 hour. I've played this course before and the conditions were great so I was disappointed to see lots of grass clipping clumps and uncut grass all over the course.
Great Day
great course and nice facilities. Disappointed that the price was different from advertised of golfnow.com. Posted cost to ride was $54.50 charged at the course $45.00 green fee + $17.50 cart fee for a total of $62.50 + tax.
a bit wet
great hotrate of $10. most tee boxes moved way up due to winter kill and a very wet spring...not the courses fault....good greens
