Twenty Valley Golf and Country Club
About
Located in Vineland atop the scenic Niagara Escarpment, Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club takes its name from the 20-mile creek, which comes into play on a number of holes, that carved the valley that runs through the golf course. The idyllic, rolling landscape provides plenty of dramatic elevation changes that cause tricky uneven lies throughout. The layout features large, undulating greens that are known to move fast and several strategically placed bunkers. Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th, which plays uphill and over the Twenty River to a medium-sized green that is precariously perched on top of a stone wall.

enjoyable
Rained overnight but started to clear after a few holes, the course played long. Scenic layout through rolling part of Niagara Escarpment, crosses Twenty Mile Creek several times. Take a cart unless you are in great shape.
Fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Bunkers were inconsistent, but so were the golfers.
We plan to play there again
Great value
Great value in a weekend too. Only complaint would be on course service. Didnt see the drink cart all day.
A great day for golf
Enjoyed the experience with my wife. Early spring golf is often a hit or miss weather wise but twenty valley was fun from start to finish.
Dec 2 -some sun, mostly cloud with constant wind
Great to be able to play in early December (even at 6 degrees C). Course has recovered from summer drought, leaves have been gathered so fairways clear and greens still excellent - one of the best courses in Niagara Region. At the Golf Now rate -this was a great bargain. Comparing 20 Valley course to Burlington course that I played twice last week - 20 Valley condition was exceptional for time of year.
Awesome track!
Played with a good buddy and had a blast!! We always play a little match and could only imagine this place in its prime. We will be heading back for a rematch in the summer!!! Great to see members playing and smiling out there....noticed a lot of pride of being part of Twenty Valley!! Keep up the great atmosphere boys....I will try not to let the secret out too far in the GTA!!!
Saturday in the Valley
Beautiful golf course with few very challenging holes. Very friendly staff.
First time on this course....will be back for sure.
Fairways beaten up
Challenging day for golf. Fairways where in real rough shape. Greens where in great shape though. On a side note the time I booked through golfnow was 8 minutes later then what the course had so had to rush as soon as I got to the course. Double checked my reservation on golfnow and it showed the later time. Would have been nice to get an email or something telling me I had a earlier time then what I booked.
Hi crstamper. Thank you for your comments. We are very proud of our course and especially our greens. We did face some weather challenges this year. This year’s drought took its toll on Twenty Valley Golf Clubs fairways. Our irrigation system is fed by a reservoir which in turn is fed by Twenty Mile Creek. As the creek stopped flowing we were not permitted (Ministry of the Environment regulations) to draw from the creek. We made the decision to ration our water to maintain the greens and tees. Overseeding has already taken place and we are seeing great results with the recovery. We believe by late fall 90 % of the damage will have healed and next year our fairways will be return to their beautiful conditions.
Not what it used to be
This has always been one of my favourite courses in the area. Unfortunately with the drought conditions of this season, they have virtually destroyed the fairways on the course, very poor conditions. They have tried their best to keep the greens in good shape, and for the most part have done so. There is a lot of work to be done here to get the course back to what is should be. Best of luck to the crew here that they can accomplish that. Looking forward to playing here again when it's back in shape.
Hi refuse, Thank you for your comment. We agree that Twenty Valley is a beautiful course and this year has been exceptional. This year’s drought took its toll on Twenty Valley Golf Clubs fairways. Nice greens!
Situated in wine country this 18 hole layout was enjoyable but the fairways were in rough shape. Nice club house, with good food.
Hi bunker7. Thank you for your comments. We are very proud of our greens Our fairways were hit hard by the drought this year. Our water comes from Twenty Mile Creek which was not flowing this year. Our maintenance crew has been working hard to repair the damage and we expect it to be back in its beautiful condition next year. We look forward to seeing you again!
meh
2nd time playing this course this year. First time in June and it was in amazing shape. Played again yesterday and it wasn't amazing. Far from it. in 2.5 months it was like they allowed elephants to trample over the fairways. Many times hitting off of dirt. Greens were in good shape though. Wouldn't recommend considering all the other course in the niagara region
Course Rangers are Useless
Brutal round, took 2 hours to play 6 holes at a 9am tee time. We walked in and got a refund. Marshals did absolutely nothing to speed up pace of play - the group ahead (foursome with carts) of us (walking threesome) was a hole behind after 3 holes - unbearably slow.
This isn't the first time pace of play has been an issue at this course, and probably won't be the last. I do not enjoy my rounds at the Valley anymore, which is sad as that's where I learned to play and spent my summers 10 years ago.
The greens are fantastic
The course fairways were bare as the fairways did not receive water or lack of water. The greens were perfect and very fast .
Only other concern the score card does not show the fairway lay out along with the yards markers at the tee box no picture and being my first time there this would have been benefiscal
Hi Mike5006033. Thank you for your comment. The fairways did suffer this year from the drought conditions. And we are very proud of our greens! It is unfortunate that we did not provide you, as a first time player, with a course guide. We do try to provide one for players who are unfamiliar with our course. Please ask for one next time you play.
Shorter but a nice challenging golf course.
Located in the Niagara Region, a nice 18 hole layout with challenging shot making. In region of Lincoln. Well kept 6300 from the Blue.
Rough shaoe
This is a hard review to write. We were excited to play 20 Valley for the first time but were very dissapointed in the condition of the course. We were told by our playing partners (one of which worked for the course) that they had run out of water in the reservoir and had not been able to water the course. Hence the burnt out conditions. I'm sure had the course been in prime condition that our rating would be much higher. Hope for more rain!
A nice day on the golf course
We enjoyed a great day of golf at Twenty Valley. I usually play here 5-6 times per year and it is always in good shape. This past round, the fairways were in pretty bad shape due to the dry weather we have been having. Other than that, all was good!
Great value for the money
Very interesting layout overall with some challenging holes. The greens were VERY fast, but rolled perfectly. Fairways were brown and hard pan due to the prevailing drought. But the greens were in great shape.
Hi Ella3355! Thank you for your comments. It's always nice to hear from someone who enjoyed playing here. We look forward to seeing you again!
