I played this course last year for the first time last year. We were kicked off the course early because they wanted to clean the carts. I was not impressed. Didn’t get any money back or anything.
I thought I’d give it another chance yesterday.
My sister and I had the most loveliest experience golfing here. Everyone from the gentlemen at the front desk, the cart man, Marshall’s, drink girl and even the girl that cleaned the carts were soooo friendly and accommodating, joking around etc.
Wonderful experience, will definitely be back!!
Incompetent Marshall
We went out as a walking twosome and had no one in front of us. There was a foursome in carts behind us spraying shots everywhere. After five holes this rude Marshall approached us saying the groups behind us were backed up and told us to pick up our pace, when there was more than a hole clear behind us. The group behind us never had to wait to shoot behind us at any hole. Then after we teed off he drove along side of us, just to be antagonistic and showing his incompetence. This was clearly unwarranted and put us off our game. We will not be playing this course again.
Longer is not always better.
Fantastic day on the grass. The front nine are delightful and a reminder of the importance of course management. As much as I love blasting my drive, I found it running through the doglegs and into trouble.
The next time I play this course, I will be more aware of how a Thompson course should be played.
The back nine is good for the driver and a lot less trouble.
Staff are friendly, pro shop has a $29 special on almost all clothing and the course was not busy.
We will return for the rematch.

Good Value and a fun course to play. For my first time shot a great round.

This course is great value for your money. The course is in good shape and they are working on getting it better for the season. The staff are super friendly and there to help in anyway they can. All in all a great day out.
First round this year. Just happy to get out

Courses in Ontario Canada closed!!
Did not get to play or cancel my round within the cancellation deadline, due to our Premiere indefinitely closing all golf courses Friday at midnight( tee time Saturday 9:08am). Hopefully I will get GOLFNOW credit being a user for the last 4 years!
Value for Money, not what paid for!
No notification that Power carts were not allowed on front nine, had to walk front nine, used power cart for back nine only, power cart for 18 holes was Paid for!
Great fall day
Last minute booking was easy and very enjoyable. Pace of play was great and we had a ton of fun.
Pathetic
The staff are rude and don’t know what social distancing means. Golf carts were filthy, so not sanitized.
Kitchen only open for lunch so good luck in getting anything to eat and what you get is way over priced.
DO NOT GO TO TJIS COURSE. NOT WORTH $90.00.
Slow and disappointing
At one point we were 5 groups on one hole. Extremely painful round and disappointing. Save your money and time and go somewhere else,
