Marlwood Country Club

Our foursome enjoyed playing golf today at Marlwood. The greens were in good shape. We wanted to have dinner there, but the club closes at 6 pm on Sundays.

I enjoyed the undulating greens and challenges of club selection. The course could use a few upgrades such as more ball washers/garbage containers. Beverage service is very limited.

I would never play this course.

We showed up. Parking lot empty. Obviously it was pouring. When we entered the club house we were told it’s golf now that needs to give us the rain cheque.

That was a lie.

Sandy later emailed saying we needed to be prepared for the weather. Like Noah and the ark.

Excellent course, friendly staff and we’ll kept greens. Highly recommend this course. We played on a Tuesday afternoon and the course was essentially empty!

It has been amazing to watch the conditions improve over that past 3 years, congrats to the new greens keeper,

If I had to make a crtisism, it would be sandtraps, need much more sand

In short, I have played the last 3 days and will be a regular here, at least once a week

I have played this course many times over the years and it is in the best condition that I have ever seen. Particularly the greens that are all in great shape, green and all about the same speed. The bunkers need some work (drainage & additional sand), to ensure they are playable in all conditions.

This is a fun course to play. It is fairly easy, due to the shortness of the course.

Great little target golf course, most par fours are around 300 yards but test your accuracy. Greens in great condition and very friendly staff. I’ll go back for sure.

It was a wet day...a little rain here and there but no big deal. We had a cart and an umbrella. We actually had the entire course to ourselves . Can't believe a little rain kept everyone away. Had so much fun just the 2 of us. Took our time!!! The course was in great shape too! Thanks Marlwood!!!

We went on a hot deal when booking online so cheaper than regular fee. It was early so quiet and no waiting. Course is well maintained but short course for the regular price.

Played this course 20+ yrs ago Front nine is nicely laid out straight forward Nice greens good size Back nine not as straight forward smaller greens and not a lot of need for a driver on the back Eary morning tee time no hold ups 2 players in power cart 2 hrs 40 mins

I booked this last minute and I was the first to tee off that day. It was a beautiful cool morning and in my mind it was close to perfect. I had no-one ahead of me , a 2 some way behind me and it was just me which is really nice sometimes to see how you can do with out all the distractions! a few par s and no birdies but it was so relaxing. I will be back and hopefully soon.

Always feel comfortable at this course. Well kept and very friendly staff make you feel like a long time member. Short but challenging course suitable for a very average golfer. Perfectly suited for those want a good golf experience without the intimidation of 7000 yes. Thx guys.

We arrived @ 8am, checked in, asked to buy a coffee and they said it's free sir, help yourself. I went out and realized I forgot my bug spray as the mosquito's were bad for a rainy morning, the starter Bill said good morning and passed us his own bug spray and said you boys will need this today. We played the whites which is about 5200 yards and it was short but very well laid out. There were some rough spots but it wasn't that the course was in bad shape, it was the actual ground. Overall one of the best deals around and with the friendly staff and starter, we will definitely be back.
