Course is always in very good condition. The only complaint and I know it was a Sunday on fathers day, was the slow play. Lots of Marshalls around but no one said anything to the group 2 in front of us. We heard that they may have been intoxicated.Tthey were 2 holes behind. It took 4:15 min, only because the group in front of us quit. Normally this is a 3.5 hour course at 5300 yards.
Avoid
The only real positive is that all the people we encountered were friendly. If you go to a golf course to meet friendly people, then play here. Otherwise, look elsewhere. It’s not worth the green fee. Course was overbooked. Last second walk-ins were getting times. We waited at every tee box, some waits were 10-15 minutes. Had a few holes that had five groups (either playing the hole or waiting at the tee box). Course design creates part of the problem as there are too many short par 4’s that people wait for the green to clear to try to reach in 1. Just an awful experience overall.
A diamond in the rough
My friends and I frequent this course for a couple of reasons. It’s close to home, you get to use almost every club in your bag, great value and it doesn’t eat up 5 hours to play a round. Play this course enough and you can almost convince yourself that you’re getting better. lol
Enjoyable round
Matched up with another couple and had a very enjoyable round. Decent and enjoyable track. Some quirky holes but overall enjoyable
Nice course
Nice course with some challenging holes. Only 2 par 5 and mostly par 4s.
Nice day out
The course is an excellent shape. It’s a nice intermediate course with the art is running from about 150 yards to 450 yards. Fairly flat so easy to walk. The bunkers still need a little work.
Great customer service
Very nice course can get good deals for the course and the price is low, carts work well, course is super well maintained and has a very cool layout. Would recommend checking it out.
Good track, and decent value.
First time playing this course. Green’s were in good condition as were the fairways for this early in the season. Staff were excellent, both in the pro shop area, and around the course.
Would have liked to have a scorecard that showed the course layout as there are a few holes where it’s not clear where you’re going.
Course could use some TLC, especially the cart paths and some tee blocks.
All in all, my wife and I enjoyed the course & we would play again.
1st round of the year
My friends and I had an excellent time yesterday afternoon. The course was in great shape. I’ve never golfed in April before. Hopefully this is a sign of a great golf season ahead.
