Fun Course in Wasaga Beach
Very friendly reception. Track is short - 5600 from blues with generous wide fairways making it a course that isn't going to grind you down. Very flat, walkable, with short distances between greens and the next tee blocks. Scenic with views of the water. We came across a ground hog, snapping turtles, and geese and goslings along the way. Water does come into play but can be avoided with strategic shots. Bunkers, like most courses it seems these days, are lacking sand but wouldn't think that's a major flaw in most people's book. Massive practice green and a chipping area is available. There is an outdoor deck / patio. Clubhouse only offering pre-made sandwiches and drinks although there were signs advertising dine and play occasions.
Lots of gimmicky holes. Greens were slow. Piece of clay was OK. Overall the course was rough around the edges.
Best and fastest round
If you’re looking to get a quick 18 in, head here for 12:00’or later. Course is almost empty in comparison to others around and staff and members are great to work with (allow to play through if you’re moving) course from the tips isn’t too hard and it’s a fun course to work on your irons and placement. A few too many blind holes for my liking but that’s just preference I suppose. Try it out!
Beautiful Course
First time playing at this course and it was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The course was beautiful and in excellent condition. Very well priced. It was challenging but also fun and I will definitely play here again this summer.
Great course and staff
The course and staff were great but the drink selection could be better and the porta potties on the course where disgusting the wife went into one and some idiot had smeared feces on the soap dispenser and the other one had urine everywhere. They obviously had not been cleaned in some time. Get that rectified and you're golden.
Great day of golf
Had a nice day golfing and enjoyed the course layout. Short track that forces long hitters to use a lot of clubs throughout the day.
Amazing staff , very courteous.
Upon arrival , a staff member greeted us right away , helped load our clubs to our cart . The course was in fantastic shape . Although not a long course , it has very tricky and challenging layout . Great course , would definitely recommend to anyone from low to high handicappers , even beginners .
