Mill Run Golf Club - Championship Grind/Grist Course
About
Mill Run Golf Club offers 27 championship holes with a convenient, yet secluded location tucked away in the rolling hills surrounding Uxbridge, which is only 40 minutes from downtown Toronto. The holes are divided into three unique nines that provide three different 18-hole layouts. The Grind/Grist Course features generous landing areas off the tee, but accuracy is needed throughout the course if you want a good score. The fourth hole on the Grist nine is a memorable hole. This long par 4 features a heavily bunkered green and even the slightest wind could affect the outcome. In addition to the three courses, Mill Run Golf Club also offers an 18-hole executive course.

Wheel 7 Photo submitted by PeteSladen11 on 10/30/2016
The course was beautiful but challenging. We all enjoyed playing there and hope to return
Wheel is an interesting 9 hole to play.
The only complaint is the pace of the foursome just before us. Seemed to have spent forever on the green. It turned out to be close to a 5 hr round.
Each hole, a different personality
First time playing
Mill Run and thoroughly enjoyed the track. Playing from the black tees, this was a good challenge. All the holes had their own quirks and a good shot was rewarded.
Greens were a little slow but rolled true. Tees, fairways and sand traps in great shape. Food at the grill after the lightning horn sounded was tasty and staff were very kind.
Front 9 great back 9 I think the wheel
We played the front 9 on the grist I believe and it was fine. Zero complaints. Good layout, different enough looks, good consistency. However, the wheel. If you have never played there good luck. No signs suggesting what to do. There was a hole that had two white stakes that made zero sense. There was also a stretch of holes where you could hit your tee shot to the 150 marker and still not be able to see the green and need to layup on a par 4. It just logically or logistically make sense. The holes looked nice but playing them if you haven’t before turned into next level target golf where if you didn’t one putt you had a bogey or worse.
Cart and path need maintenance
There were a few steep down hill cart paths.
Made sure you drive down slowly to avoid accident !
Good course to play
We played at the Wheel front nine and the Grind back nine. The wheel a tad easier, the Grind you have to grind away, nevertheless enjoyable.
Course conditions
Course greens was very good.
Staff was very kind .
Good thing is that keep tee time.
Excellent, Excellent
Don’t waste your time
Greens are dead and top dressed! Don’t waste your money!!
Challenging course
We played front nine @ The Wheel and the back nine the Grind which is more difficult than the Wheel.
Overall our foursome did OK
Enjoyed the well maintained course. and good management
