The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

Fun Creative Course

For being in a drought, the course was in incredible shape. Pace of play was phenomenal. Kind of course that makes you think off the tee.

Not terribly long when not playing form the tips.

I find Colorado to be a little pricy when it comes to public golf courses, including this one, but would come back and play here again.

Course is nice but holes are really close together. Watch for errant balls flying. Tight holes near houses. Course is fun though. Target golf for sure.

Expensive for the quality

I have golfed here before, its been a few years. But the price was way higher than it's been in the past. The course quality was pretty good, better than it has been in the past. Only real knock I have is the cost of 18 holes and I had asked to have my daughter be a ride along, I was told that they cant have more than two carts on a foursome? I don't see where an extra cart would of hurt anything, plus I had to ride with a guy I've never golfed with before.

We also never seen any marshals out on the course, to keep the pace of play up. Two other guys that I golfed with, were falling apart and taking way longer to get the ball down the course. It took 5 hours for 18 holes, RIDICULOUS.

Heather Gardens Experience

I enjoy playing this tight course with some of the best greens in Aurora. Not very friendly to junior golfers and will charge a $30 fee for junior caddies on top of your green fee.

Short and Tight Course!

This course is very low key, but honestly great for one only the consistently cheaper tee times. It is shorter than a lot of courses and also very tight tee shots and a decent amount of water.

If you are looking for a course to test your course management skills this is very good course to do so.

Enjoyable course

Course was very nice and the layout is well planned. We had a foursome ahead of us that were slow and moneyed around quite a bit. We still had about a four hour round. Nice sfaff.

Overall course condition is great and staff are super friendly. Pace of play was frustrating.

It was my first time at this course and the houses and apartments are very close to tee boxes, fairways and greens so have to be less aggressive than normal.
