Rating 69.0

The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

Disabled & Unhappy

They do not take care of disabled golfers. I had the same access to the green as any one else. They also do not have any Handicap Parking close to the Golf Shop.

Short course with a great layout

Played here for the first time last Saturday and while I don't make it down to Aurora often, this course was worth the drive! Shorter course being around 5,800yds from the blues (I think the sign said around 5,300 from the whites) but the layout of the holes gives it plenty of challenging spots. Most of the course is surrounded by houses/condos and a few of the tees have pretty narrow shots so it's a great course to work with your woods and long irons. The greens were probably the most fun part as most of them were running fast and had some tricky breaks. We'll definitely play here again.

Nice day at the course

Overall good conditions. Just under 6000 from the tips; par 70. Fairly tight, with town homes and trees lining most fairways. In our group, there were a few buildings hit! I played with another single and a twosome, (all much younger than me!) and we had a nice time. Only complaint was pace. They posted a 4-hour target, but we were around 5 hours -- 10am start time.

Great course

Great course!! Challenging between water, houses and tricky greens. Staff was great and I got pairs up and had great people to play with. Would play here again.

Fantastic Round!

I'm a big fan of Heather Ridge. I love the quirks, the scoreability, and the overall vibe of the golfers who play there! The round took 5 hours to complete, but when you're having fun, it takes a bit of that frustration away. Course was in great shape, and I can't wait to go back!

Horrible

This is the worst course in Denver the people that run the place I have booked a teatime for 50 something dollars I get there. She says you have someone riding with you today. I said I have my girlfriend with me. She’s a ride along. She took my credit card and swiped it for $89 without telling me that there is a ride along fee Never in my life if I’ve been charged for a freaking ride along fee with someone that doesn’t even own golf clubs. It was so backed up. The Ranger came out and tried to tell us to take a par on 18 and not play it because it was getting dark. Needless to say there were 15 groups backed up on 18 wanting to get one less hike in. The people that were playing the course were tearing it up the greens look like someone drugged their feet across every single one. They have baseball fences up next to some of the tea boxes so you can’t cut the corner or play down the tree line to drive the hole. It’s honestly the stupidest corse in Denver.

Great course

Really nice staff and a very decent restaurant. Course is challenging with lots of tight fairways and water. Cannot just bash driver, greens in decent shape for how busy it is
