About
The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

HIDDEN GEM IN AURORA
Heather Ridge is a favorite of mine. The staff is always helpful and professional. The course though short offers some unique challenges and has been well cared for.
Great shape
enjoyed the round very much. Greens had been punches a few weeks ago and are not in really good shape.

Warming up to this course...
Gotta keep the shots in front of you... and locals who live on the course WILL let you know if and when you get too close to their property lines... had a guy walking his dog on #11 and took a player's ball that trickled into OB by about a yard... he flat out put the ball in his pocket and walked away. We yelled out to him and he just kept walking... he must live on the next hole because there were six balls left in the middle of the early fairway... Getting back to golf is saying something here but we did and I kept my round going to shoot Even so I was happy about that.

Great track - full price with recently aerated greens
Great track. Pace was a little slow but not bad. Just steer clear of this after aeration, they don’t tell you it’s been done and the rates are full price.
When the greens are in good shape this would be a fun course to play

Well maintained with great greens
A short course with housing built too close on many holes. Greens are the selling point and lay out is average but ok based on green fees. Pace of play was horrible and the one group that was the problem the Marshall did not make them pick up their pace until the 14th hole!
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Course Claims
The course strongly urged 9 holes in 2 hours and 18 holes in 4 hours with rangers watching. This did not happen. Front 9 was 2 1/2 back nine was 2 1/2. Group in front of us was over a hole behind on the back and a almost 2 holes behind.
Not the course fault, but group behind us hit into us twice. Second time onto a residence patio. The player was about to play from the resident’s yard when I asked him not to and also asked him to use the ward fore!
The brakes on the golf carts (I tried 2) are mushy and give the feeling the cart is not going to stop

Very nice course for the money
The course is in excellent condition for a public course. The greens are incredible! The only downside is the course is quite open with holes next to each other, and it can be dangerous with some of the hack golfers out there. I had a couple balls fly over my head with no warning. Other than that, an excellent value.

Short but challenging
I overall enjoyed it. Greens were fast which made the course difficult. I thought I would of have destroyed this course judging it by the distance but I was definitely humbled. Pace of play was awesome, the marshals were out there keeping it moving. We finished 18 right around 4 hours on a Sunday. I would definitely play it again!!

Short and tight
Course is very short, and lined with houses. Greens were fast and rolled well. Lots of slope on some greens, so being below the hole is important.
Annoying signs on every tee reminding you that damage is your responsibility so aim carefully, and the houses are very close, definitely in play. The houses are so close they also remind you that should you pee on trees instead of use the restroom you will go to jail. The point of those statements is to demonstrate that the houses are so much in play, they remind you in every tee and you are literally in peoples back yards. We successfully avoided damaging any houses (and peeing on any trees :) so all was good.
The course is short so no need to hit driver on most holes, but too tight and too short to recommend. Just a very average course making use of the land they have.

Awesome Course
I actually paid 59 Dollars Green Fee ,Cart and rental clubs all included ( my clubs got Stolen) Couldn't beat that price any where ...the staff is awesome as always

Cute city course
The course is nestled in a older neighborhood in Aurora. Not very long even from the tips. Big hitters can really bring this course to its knees. I did love many of holes that require you to hit to a certain distance rather than just blasting away on each tee box. Greens were in excellent condition.
