About
The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

Great course.
Got a sweet deal on Golfnow to debut this course with a Pal on a Monday am. Course was in Good condition, greens smooth and fast. I'm a 17 HNCP. Pulled off an 89 with 3 lost balls. Great company with 2 local fellas paired up with us.

First time
First time playing the course, I did not know what to expect. Though it seemed short in areas, the apartments/condos surrounding the course did not help my hook/slice. Fairways & greens were in great shape, and the marshall was on point to keep our pace of play in line with the course requirements.
We drove, but the course is definitely walkable. I'm not sure I'd pay $60 for a round, but that is the sign of the times.

Reservation
Our reservation didn't carry over to Heather Ridge. I called that morning to let them know I lost two of our foursome so they could add someone else, and they didn't have our reservation.

Fun Course
Traditional city course surrounded by patio homes. Narrow fairways but it is rather short so no need to pull the driver.
Not a destination course but if your go-to is unavailable this will scratch your golf itch.

Quality course for the money
We booked this as a hot deal and also used a coupon code to play for about $35 for 2 of us. For the money, this was a great little course. Overall, it was in nice shape.

Great Little Course
Had a blast plauing here butvthe pace can be a little slow. Alot of iron play so it definitely stays tight and narrow in places. Greems were in great condition and fassst .

Slightly below average
This course tends to have a deal time that’s a good price. But… there’s no driving range, the greens are pretty bad, the fairways are horrible, the pace of play is by far the worst I’ve ever seen and the prices are weird. I’ve booked a tee time for Wednesday on Monday before and then Tuesday it was $10 less then on Wednesday morning it was $15 less then Wednesday late morning it was $10 more than I originally booked it for. Most courses it just gets cheaper as you get closer. Not a big fan.
