Albion Ridges Golf Course - The Boulder Nine

Always have a great time playing here. Staff is always friendly. Course is good shape with all the rain. Worth the trip from twin cities.

This is an excellent course! Very well maintained and an outstanding, challenging layout but very fair and playable. We vacation in the area every year and this course has been added to the "must play" list. We played Boulder and Granite and both were very nice. See you next year, we will be back! Staff is very friendly. Greens run true and fast - play more break than you think. Course was in excellent condition!

Even though you have to work a little to get to it, you should. Wide open and breezy it can test your game if you want it to. Greens are usually fast and sometimes the pins are diabolical. Plan to play 27 holes. You’ll want to.

This is my favorite course when I come home in the summer. I am willing to drive 45 miles to play this course because of the staff and the course itself.

The course as always is a wonderful layout. They must have had some extra rain..as all courses in the area have. A few fairways were a little soggy but overall excellent course.

Here is a course with true variety. From tough rough to water hazards. You need to watch where you drive that ball. The fairways seem wide with few trees but soon you discover that is not the fairway...beautiful but definitely rough.

As Johnny Miller would say..you're in the deep stuff. The good thing is the grass is blue grass so you can get out but determining your yardage is not so easy. Soft but reasonably fast greens with enough adulations to make you look carefully before you putt. Small greens and big greens. This is a great course. Add in newer cards with GPS and you have my favorite course in Minnesota so far. Pace was good and as I played alone, people encouraged me to play through, Minnesota nice. What's not to like? No restaurant but sandwiches and drinks to take care of basics.

We started on the Boulder course. Very challenging, but a lot of fun. Will definitely play here again!

Was a windy day, also with all the rain we had area were very wet. We played pick and move to a dry spot. Other than that the course was in good condition. WE drive an hour to play the course, well worth it. Like having 3 different nine hole courses. Can play all 3 nine if you are up to it. Will play again. Would play more often if we were closer to course. Employees are always very friendly.

Fabulous course in the country with lots of challenges. Love it!

The best part about playing Albion Ridges is the variety of hole available. The three 9 hole courses offer an array of hole configurations and can be played from very difficult and lengthy, to easier and shorter, depending upon the tee boxes that you choose to use. We drive an hour to get there, driving past a dozen other courses that aren't as fun and well kept to play. I like the (real grass) rough. Some courses allow rough to weed up and die, but not Albion Ridges. You need to play this course once. A course of this caliber closer to the cities would easily charge double.
