Grass Needed
Unfortunately this course is very dry except on the greens. If you can putt on very wet/long greens and play off of dirt in fairways then you might be able to score. Unfortunately lack of local rain has been difficult to overcome for course maintenance
Greens and food
Greens where rough not all but some causing putting issues got cold hotdogs on the turn wasn't good

Love the layout - should have been warned about fairways
Always love this course and my sons and I finished in about 3 1/2 hours - awesome for a holiday weekend. Only complaint was the fairways (or lack of). Most of the fairways were nothing but dirt - not sure if there had been a problem or just lack of water all winter. They have watered the greens and they were in pretty good shape except for a few rough areas, but you had to look pretty hard to find grass on many of the fairways. Looking at the glass half full though…you did get a lot of roll.

Might want to wait a few months.
The fairways are all dirt and clay. Not even dormant grass. It’s dead and barren.
However, the greens are in pretty good shape.

Still in Ridiculously Bad Shape
The “fairways” are all weeds or dirt. The greens, when they look good from a distance (rarely), are so spongy and full of weeds that your ball won’t roll properly. When they are not green, they are destroyed with either dead spots, mildew, or weeds.
The amenities are lackluster. A crummy bar that doesn’t open until 11, no beverage cart, and they lock up promptly at 6, so don’t plan on using the facilities after your round.
It’s been this same way for years, so it’s not a result of the freeze last year. They literally act like they don’t care if it gets better, yet the rates are increased to lead you to believe it’s a good course. $42 + tax is ridiculous for the conditions of this course.

Fairways are horrible!
We were hitting off of dirt 90% of the time we were in the fairway! It doesn't appear they watered at all this summer and there was hardly any grass. Most of the greens were not great, either. If I could have gotten my money back, I would have and I will not play this course again. Sad, because it used to be a good course many years ago!

Save your money, the greens are awful, sprinklers ran all day. The attendant up front recommended playing other courses in the area as even he was aware of the poor state of the course.

So Much Potential
The course has excellent staff, great layout, and a decent clubhouse. If the greens and fairways resembled anything like a golf course it would be nice. The greens were horrible and there are lot's of weeds and thin patches in the fairways. Not worth $42!!

Fairways and greens were in terrible shape. There was a SIXSOME. yes, a SIXSOME, playing in front of us. Never going back.

Golf Course
The staff was very nice and helpful, but probably due to the lack of rain, the only green grass on the golf course were the greens. The pace of play was great and over all we had a good time.

Course is in good shape despite the heat. Will definitely play here again.

Disappointed
The greens were terrible. They had numerous dead spots on many different greens. I'd recommend playing their other course Cedar Valley that's down the road. It's in great shape.

Course needs serious, serious help. Then I’d go all the time
The greens are bad. The fairways are bad. Go somewhere else until they can get the course back where it should be. Everything is weeds and dirt.
