Tour 18 Dallas
About
Tour 18 Dallas is an ingenious compilation of the greatest golf holes in the nation, giving golfers the chance to play replica holes from 16 top courses. This one is tough -- not only because of the challenging and lengthy choice of holes that went into the design -- but especially because of the lightning-fast greens and challenging pin placements. While the conditions are probably accurate in terms of what the pros face each week, it can be quite humbling to shoot 15 strokes over your handicap because of 4- and 5-putts. The most recognizable holes at Tour 18 Dallas are the Augusta National Amen Corner replicas, which make up the final three-hole stretch.

No grass!
Fairways and tee boxes, not a single blade of green grass. Would have been a “nice to know” when booking and prepaying online. Beautiful neighborhood and apparently the folks that live there don’t support the course or play there.
A Marshall talked to us on the first hole and thanked us for being there; said they really need the cash! Truth!
Do not waste your money
Do not I repeat do not waste your money on this course. The fairways are completely dead and it is just hardpan and dirt. They blamed lightning striking the water tower but from what I heard it’s been in this condition for years.
Keep hoping it’ll be different but still the same
What a bummer. Greens were okay-ish compared to previous times I’ve played here, but still not great compared to other courses around the area. The rest of the course looked like it hasn’t been watered in months. Legitimately only dead grass and dirt everywhere you look. It was so sad to see. Can’t believe a course with a layout like this has been so poorly taken care of. $83 per player on a weekday was ridiculously overpriced for the course in its current state. Passed by the Bridlewood golf club on the way up to tour 18 and it looked gorgeous in comparison and probably around the same price or less.
As bad as other reviews say
Saw other negative reviews day before the round and thought they were excessive. Yes, it really is in that bad of shape. The grass wasn’t “dormant,” it was dead. Imagine playing in hardpan from out of the fairway.
Two guys behind us quit mid-round because the “conditions were embarrassing.” $100+ to try to find something resembling grass to hit the next shot, when tracks up the street were just fine. Until they water their course, I wouldn’t play it for free.
Bad maintenance
The Tee boxes and fairways are terrible, for the price paid should be much better
Poor value for conditions
The course cost 135 to play in its current condition it is maybe 50 dolllars. Lots of T boxes were dirt or sand the fairways were burnt up very little grass. The greens were good not great. We did get a hot dog at the turn. The Staff did not want to lower the prices even though they knew the conditions.I understand we have had no rain and been hot but other courses we play in the metroplex are not this bad and a lot cheaper. They made excuse after excuse why course in bad shape DO Not Recommend This Course sad😢
Tour 18
First off I want to start by saying the reviews on this course are very critical and although there is some truth to them they are a little harsh. The fairways are burnt and there is a lot of hard pan but it is not complete dirt like people say. The layout of the course is fantastic and I would like to play come spring time or a time where it hasn’t been 105+ for going on a month and a half. The greens are in tremendous shape.
The biggest downfall for us was not the fairways but the pace of play. It was hot and we teed off early to ensure we finished before it got above 100. The group ahead of us was very slow. Mind you we are not great golfers but were constantly catching them and having to wait 5-10 minutes in every tee box. Easily added over an hour to our round. We would eventually leave with 2 holes to go because it was almost 1pm and it was getting very hot.
Will certainly play again. I hope the fairways are in better condition and the pace is managed better next time.
Disappointed
I know we’re enduring a horrible summer, but I’ve played courses around the Metroplex and have not experienced a course with such terrible fairways. Random patches of green, but 90% of the fairways were burned out.
The greens we’re in fair condition, but that’s was the only upside.
Maybe they decided not to waste the water, and let them burn out, and that’s entirely their call, but maybe make sure potential players booking tee times, know that in advance.
We invited one of our top clients to play, and we regret that decision. Plus the carts were in bad shape, bald tires, broken parts, our dashboard was cracked, and the cooler, had dirty water in it, and few beat up golf balls rolling around in it. Of course we didn’t notice this until we had tee’d off and asked the beverage cart attendants if they had ice so we could chill some drinks, and even they nearly vomited when they looked inside.
Our client played the course about year ago and he could not believe the condition and the state of the carts.
Lesson learned. There are so many options in the DFW area that offer a better golf experience. Even in a blistering summer.
Save your money
Wow… The tee boxes have no grass, the fairways have no grass, the greens are in surprisingly ok shape. To charge $125 a round for this course is absolutely mind blowing. Not what you would expect paying those green fees. They try to offer you a free hot dog at the turn and 20% off your next round only Monday-Friday. You can’t really blame the course conditions on the lack of rain when courses within 10 miles have lush fairways. Seriously, save your money, go play your local muni, you will have a much better time. Tour 18.. drop your rates. This should be a $30 course in this condition. Even then I probably wouldn’t come back.
Good Day
Had a good day. Pace of play was good. Greens are in great shape. Fairways and tee boxes are very dry - but, the whole State is very dry. Staff were great as always.
Fun course
It was fun playing some of the most famous holes in golf. The greens were in great shape, but almost all of the fairways were burnt by the heat. Can't wait to go back in the fall to see if it improves. Staff was friendly and the range balls were included.
Very Disappointing Conditions at ANY Price
Relative came in from out of town and we wanted to try and play. We noticed the price was lowered to $64 from $83 which was surprising because sadly there’s no 9 hole rate or twilight or really any discounts any longer. So, we were thinking they aerated the greens, but the greens were the only thing that was green out there. Tee boxes and fairways were totally burnt and hard pan, and it was like playing in the middle of the desert. It was definitely not worth the $130+ or even half of that amount and it’s going to take a long time before there’s grass out there. Staff is friendly and helpful and what’s sad is this place use to be great, but unfortunately it’s really gone downhill. Save your time and money and go elsewhere!
Worse shape ever
Fairways are super dry, bunkers have no sand and hard to play
Overall is the worse shape I have seen this golf course in years
Horrible conditions
I should have read the recent reviews before going out. My nephew and I quickly made the decision to go play a round. Initial impression should have been my first red flag. They wouldn’t honor their own online pricing so we paid $89 each. I wouldn’t even pay $20 to go back for another round. Like previous reviews, the course is in horrible conditions. Fairways if that’s what you call them, were rock hard, burnt, and sandy. I understand we’re in a drought and expected them to be dry. I asked when we paid if they had water out on the course and the guy said of course it’s too hot to not why wouldn’t we? Well, news to us, we expected a few more water jugs. One on the front 9 and one on the back 9. Just do yourself a favor, never play this course. They’re too caught up on the name and it’s a crappy course. 2nd time playing and I’ll never go back and recommend no one go.
Not worth the money
Staff was fantastic, very friendly. Course was in very very poor condition. Play your local muni's 3 times for this price... they are on much better shape
Disappointing
The idea of the course is great and would have been fun and worth the money, but the fairways were completely burned out and so dry dust flew when your ball hit the ground. They shouldn’t be charging $125 per person for those conditions.
Save your money
Last time we will play here. Paying $125 to play here was absolutely ridiculous. The greens were in good shape, the rest of the course was atrocious. I thought I was playing in the desert, fairways were dirt.
