About
Tour 18 Dallas is an ingenious compilation of the greatest golf holes in the nation, giving golfers the chance to play replica holes from 16 top courses. This one is tough -- not only because of the challenging and lengthy choice of holes that went into the design -- but especially because of the lightning-fast greens and challenging pin placements. While the conditions are probably accurate in terms of what the pros face each week, it can be quite humbling to shoot 15 strokes over your handicap because of 4- and 5-putts. The most recognizable holes at Tour 18 Dallas are the Augusta National Amen Corner replicas, which make up the final three-hole stretch.

Golfer Reviews
Course has potential
I’ve been playing out here for years. Staff is always nice and they check all the available services boxes. It falls short on course conditions. There is always something under repair. It seems like they don’t have a greens keeper or enough maintenance workers to keep the course in good condition. The biggest issue is the greens. There wasn’t a single green with a smooth putting surface. I couldn’t tell if they were disease, poorly maintained, or struggling from the freeze but I’ve played a bunch of other course in dfw some who charge less money and Tour 18 has the worst greens. It’s pretty much impossible to score. Either charge half of what your charging or get the course in scoring condition.
Greens are garbage
I’ve played here 3 times previously and this time was by far the worst. The greens are some of the absolute worst in DFW. I play pretty much every weekend and usually spend $75-$200 for green fees….this place isn’t worth $25 with the conditions the greens are in. Friendly staff and great course layout but save your money until they fix the issues.
Greed at it's best!
We played yesterday, 05/14/22, and we were all (4 some), totally unhappy with the experience. Having played at this course many times over the last 10+ years, I couldn't believe the condition of the course and the absolutely ridiculous green fee of $135,00!!! If we would have had another chance to play at such late notice, we would have.
I have played this course at green fees from $59.00 to $75.00 and it was in great condition. I felt it was a fair price for an enjoyable golf experience.
The course overall was not maintained. The greens were worse than playing in a cow pasture. Aerated, dried out, full of sand...absolutely horrible!!. I understand now why the staff seemed to be happy, charging $135.00 for a $40.00 course. Greed is an ugly thing. I will not be playing there, possibly ever again. In addition, I plan on sharing my/our terrible experience with everyone I know that plays.
Maintenance Dumpster Fire
The course should be closed until they fix the greens. Mostly dirt and the bumpiest I’ve ever seen by a lot. Bunkers were a mess. Some without any sand at all - just a weed patch (e.g., 15), others with collapsing edges (e.g., 5). Water hazards on 14 and 16 look like FEMA sites —- brown water with junk floating on the surface. The Oakland Hills #16 replica (#8) completely misses the mark. The signature feature of O.H. 16 is a pristine lake bordered only by manicured fairway. In Tour 18’s version, the lake is almost entirely defiled by thick reeds — you can hardly even see any water.
Bottom Line: Will never go back … even if the green fee is $0. Waste of a day.
Greens are horrible
The tee boxes and fairways are in very condition but the greens are probably the worst in DFW! They had bare spots and not much grass and the worst part is that the greens keeper has the flag in the sandy bare spots. Makes zero sense!! Put the flags in the green grassy area, water the other areas like crazy and grass will grow. Very disappointed I paid over $100 for this!!!
Shut down until you fix the greens
I really think this course should be shut down until you get your greens fixed. This would be an amazing course if it weren’t for the poor maintenance of the greens. The value was definitely not there for the court conditions and I would not return as a result. I brought in a client and I wish I would’ve selected another course to be honest with you as putting on hard dirt it’s not a golf course I would want to take a client on.
The staff was great. The facilities off the course were great. This could be a gold mine if the course were in shape. From what I read online after my round this has been a problem for a very long time. I wish you luck and I hope you get it all resolved.
Beautiful course….but the greens need a lot of work
The layout is very nice, varied and challenging. But for the green fee the greens need a lot of improvement!! Worst I have seen in a while.
Greens are Horrible
Like everyone else said the layout of the course is awesome, but the greens suck and to pay the price they are charging is not worth the drive or your time.
You know the issues
Everyone knows the issue with very bad greens. They are sparse, bumpy, inconsistent and might be 3 different types of grass. This is an issue since I first played it 5 years ago. So, people that read these reviews will know what to expect on greens and if you pay a high amount for a round that is on you. The famous holes layout is cool and worth $50 green fee even with the greens as they are. I played it for $75 to get familiar with the layout before a scramble competition there later in week. But I otherwise would not pay more than $50 hot deal to play again. The people I dealt with were nice and friendly and the range had good grass which was improvement since my last visit. I think they are trying but a greens doctor is needed to breath life into the course.
Hopefully it would be improved!!??
This is such a waste. it is a great track in a wonderful neighborhood. I can’t believe they don’t maintain the coursr better. We played the course a couple of years ago and it was about the same. The greens are pretty fast but bumpy and inconsistent. The bunkers are different on every hole. some obviously ‘under repair’. some perfect. some bottomless and some complete dirt. If this course was in great shape it would be a gem. As it is I won’t play it again. The concept and the design is great. The neighborhood should get involved and make ot what it should be instead of a forgotten wonderful course let gi to $h!*
Do not play here
This course is in the middle of a fantastic community with a spectacular layout and beautiful surroundings but the greens are absolutely horrible! Having lived in Dallas for the last 20 years this is a year after your thing they refuse to fix these greens. You should charge 40 bucks max to play here not premium price Until you fire the greenskeeper and get somebody that has a clue about how to take care of greens. The only way this management team will learn that people hate lousy rolling greens is to not spend your money here until it hits them in the pocketbook
This has to be a fraudulent review. Course conditions “excellent”? Funny that everyone else thinks the greens are dead, horrible, bouncy and unplayable.
