Tour 18 Dallas is an ingenious compilation of the greatest golf holes in the nation, giving golfers the chance to play replica holes from 16 top courses. This one is tough -- not only because of the challenging and lengthy choice of holes that went into the design -- but especially because of the lightning-fast greens and challenging pin placements. While the conditions are probably accurate in terms of what the pros face each week, it can be quite humbling to shoot 15 strokes over your handicap because of 4- and 5-putts. The most recognizable holes at Tour 18 Dallas are the Augusta National Amen Corner replicas, which make up the final three-hole stretch.

Great day to play

Played with one of my regular golf buddies and had a wonderful time. We are 14+ handicappers, but decided to play the 6-12 handicap tee box, I shot a 89 while three putting the last hole after taking a drop. This course is on my continue to play list. Ron

Don't waste your time or money

Played here with a buddy from out of town and was extremely disappointed with the course conditions. Greens and sand traps are in horrible condition. There are multiple holes that have poor and damaged fairway sections. Not worth any bit of money you would pay to play this course.

Missing out

Tour 18 as one of the best layouts in the area and it is so sad that they do not keep up with it maintenance wise. They could easily have a top-five course but for whatever reason they choose not to . Greens were fluffy , bunkers were a mess and there was no Marshall to keep pace of play anywhere near acceptable. No gps or well marked course makes it take so much longer as well. Very disappointed

Tour 18

The course was a little wet from rains, bunkers mostly not playable, marshals and check in staff were great, beverage service was almost non existent, cart girl on hole 11??, inside bar service was terrible, we sat in the bar for 10 minutes before being approached for order.

Atrocious

Nothing good to say about the course other than layout & it is located in a beautiful neighborhood. Leaves the impression with the golfer that the management is completely lacking in how to keep the course in playable shape & is unwilling to properly invest in the course.. The greens are devoid of real grass in most spots, very bouncy, totally inconsistent from hole to hole, making it extremely difficult to gauge speed & break. Even if you get lucky enough to read a putt, some bump or inconsistent portion will send your ball off on a new direction. Tee boxes are mostly dirt patches, except for Amen Corner. Fairways drain poorly & hitting off respectable grass is rare. Bunkers are a joke. Driving range appearance is pathetic. Cart paths are full of cracked & uneven concrete. Course has huge potential but needs to be under ownership that knows what they’re doing & is willing to invest to make this one of the areas finest golf courses.

Fun and hard

I enjoyed playing today! Traps and some of the greens weren’t in great shape. They had the green mowed so tight that the grass was dead in spots. I never expect to shoot a good score here because it is truly a tough course and it is a good representation of tour level courses. Overall it was a fun test of skills. And the employees there are excellent and friendly. It’s fun to play a few times a year so I can appreciate going back to muni courses!

No grass

There is absolutely no grass on the greens and this use to be beautiful course. If I were a homeowner in this beautiful golf community I would be furious. They need to pay people to come play this course. I see now why it was only $39 to play, and that’s too much if you want to know the truth.

Sad

Love the course but it was in the worst shape I have ever seen it. It’s sad to see a piece of property like this goes to waste. Either spend the money to take care of it or get out of the golf business.

Disappointed

This course has had problems with the greens and doesn’t drain well, all things I’ve been willing to tolerate in the past until today. First, the fairways were awful. But what was even worse was the pace of play. Early morning tee time and only a threesome and twosome ahead is but the round still took four hours.

challenging course

The staff was very friendly. My wife played with me and we we're able to play as a twosome and we're not rushed the whole day.

Crusty

Greens were punched, sanded-which I understand- but front 9 had considerable weeds as well....They have given up on the traps.... There was no consistency on watering the aprons either-one plugs, another bounces 5 feet high, so tough for us who often run the ball into the green...Used to be a gem, but can see much of the little things that make a course great are missing..Needs some TLC...DV

Course in Terrible Shape

This course relies on the famous holes to get golfers, and chargers an insane price for people to play the replicas. The course was in absolute brutal shape. I know it’s early in the season, but they seriously only took care of the last 3 Augusta holes. The rest had terrible tee boxes and many were not flat. Could hardly get a good lie in the fairway and the greens were brutal.

Disrespectful to 18 of the greatest holes in golf, I would recommend spending your time and money elsewhere. If price gets around $20-30, then this would be worth it.

No control over the course

No starter to control pace of play. Should not have 3 groups backed up on every box. Called to have the ranger come and see what was going on, staff could have cared less! Group people up or spread out start times. What a joke. Left after 11 painfully slow holes.

Fun holes but in very bad shape

Playing for the first time was exciting to see the course layout and the replicas are cool for a golf fan like myself. However the course was is very poor condition. Parts of the course looked underconstruction and ground was hard and dead. Some tee boxes were lush green and others looked like they would be on a $10 course. I don’t know where they are putting their efforts into but I would not recommend this course, especially for the cost.
