Tour 18 Dallas is an ingenious compilation of the greatest golf holes in the nation, giving golfers the chance to play replica holes from 16 top courses. This one is tough -- not only because of the challenging and lengthy choice of holes that went into the design -- but especially because of the lightning-fast greens and challenging pin placements. While the conditions are probably accurate in terms of what the pros face each week, it can be quite humbling to shoot 15 strokes over your handicap because of 4- and 5-putts. The most recognizable holes at Tour 18 Dallas are the Augusta National Amen Corner replicas, which make up the final three-hole stretch.

Super Slow

5 1/2 hour round. The starter was preaching about pace of play and allowing faster players to go through as we were sitting on #1 already backed up. I saw a couple of Marshall’s but I have no idea who they were pushing. On our first par 5, there were 5 groups on that hole. Marshall could do a better job of pushing pace of play, but I think this is ultimately a golf shop issue. How many tee times per hour are you opening up?

Better course maintenance urgently required

Although the course lay out is beautiful, the course has so many no grass area and wet area. In general, the ground is stiff and dry, detrimental for your wrist and elbow.

Challenging, Fun & Scenic

First time out at Tour 18 here in DFW and very happy with the entire experience. Staff was all very friendly and helpful, the course was in very good shape throughout with very few dry spots. VERY fun course to play.. many holes are challenging but extremely fair if you hit a decent shot. Greenside bunker sand was a bit damp/firm so those were tricky. Greens were in excellent shape and rolled true. We had a blast and look forward to visiting again soon!

Way better than posted reviews

I’m shocked by all the negative reviews. Yes, it has a few opportunities but what course doesn’t. Greens are in great shape. A few tee boxes could use a little help and yes, a few bunkers hold a little water. Fairways were great as well. People ripping this course, I call BS. Unless they are trying to keep everyone away so they can have the course to themselves. I played using a Hot Deal for $51 and hope to find it again.

Water was every where and the course needs to be cleaned up. Masters leaderboard is falling apart and the appeal of the signature holes is gone. Needs to be upgraded to be worth the money paid.
